Mar 25th 2009 1:09AM If your friends are so frugal, they most likely could have avoided doing the remodeling, and if they needed to be getting furnishings, they wouldn't be getting the high-end stuff that Direct Buy claims you have to buy to get the really good savings that they say their members get.

Given that your friends aren't as frugal as you suggest, I suspect they're not nearly so savvy either.
