Eagle's Nest, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Mar 17th 2009 2:32PM It looks nothing like the original Berghof. Eagle's nest it the American name for Hitler's residence near Berchtesgaden, Germany.

I personally loved the Berghof with its gold plated elevator, although Hitler's personal style for interiors was very cold and in my opinion a little bland. The original was blown up a few years after. I think the only thing left was the foundation to a greenhouse.
