I am equally annoyed when I see a Maybellene or other mascara add showing a celebrity and she's wearing false eyelashes. It's a sleazy and dishonest way to promote their product.

Jul 7th 2011 3:37PM One has to surround themselves with the things and colors that make one happy. I'd rather see a house like Ms. Taylor's that reflected her passions and taste then houses that were done totally by a decorator with no input by the home owner at all. I can walk into a house and tell in three seconds when a decorator was responsible for everything. It's almost always a cold feeling. Besides, it's not like Elizabeth had a collection of Barbie dolls or Hello Kitty things all over her house.
I once redid someone's house where when one walked in, it was, from one end to the other covered, litterally........ with cherubs, cupids and angles. It was hideous. I took her collection and put it in one area so she could enjoy her collection and worked mostly with what she already had but that were under utilized. Her husband, son and her were thrilled with the outcome........and she got to keep her "collection". Before, the males were embarrassed to bring their friends into their home.
Keep in mind that the more control a decorator has....the more money they make. Their bill is based on how much "stuff" they bring into the picture.
Personally, I love the English style of decorating. But that's just me.

It's not hard to figure what has gone on here. Ms. Berry wanted a gorgeous man to father a child with and that's it. What's she's doing is disgusting. She hasn't been successful at relationships but she sees a child as a trophy and a possession and a child won't leave her.
I haven't forgotten that she has two hit and run accidents on her record. All the physical beauty that this woman was blessed with didn't cross over into her character.

I never said anything negative about Liberace, Cher, Patte LaBelle or Madonna.
Quite the contrary. I was saying nothing about Gaga is original but that she borrowed from the previous stars mentioned. Liberace was a fabulous showman. I've always loved Cher. Patte LaBelle was and is an obscenely talented woman and Madonna is a great entertainer.
My point was that Gaga didn't pioneer outrageous costumes.
It appears that you are the loser because you didn't understand something as simple as that.

There is nothing about her that I like. A costume of raw meat? This woman is so desperate for attention that it's hard not to feel sorry for her on some level.
There's nothing original about her. Before her outrageous costumes, there were Liberace, Cher, Patte LaBelle and Madonna so Gaga is hardly a novelty. She just takes things a step further.
