Oklahoma Apartment Complex Threatens to Evict Tenants for Police Visits {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 23rd 2013 3:25PM Nobody gets evicted because they were robbed. But if you get robbed 4 times in a month there is a reason for it, likely drugs or othter criminal elements inside. And each case gets investigated as to the reasons for the disturbance and if the tenant is found to have caused the disturbance with their inapproiate behavior or associations then eviction is considered.

Oklahoma Apartment Complex Threatens to Evict Tenants for Police Visits {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 23rd 2013 12:19PM What this manager is trying to do is make it safe and enjoyable for tenants. Having police storming all over the place is not conducive to a pleasant living environment. Our city has a "Chronic Nuisance Ordinanace" that is basically the same thing. When there are repeated disturbacnces at an address which includes multiple calls for police the occupant can be evicted. This helps keep neighborhoods safe and increases property values. Without it, the area is drug down into the gutter until only rats want to live there.

Rob Olson of Lake Elmo, Minn., Destroys His Entire Lawn With Weed Killer {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 17th 2012 3:04PM I would be pissed too. The photo of the bottle the chemical came in says "Lawn Weed Killer". It doesn't say "Lawn/Grass Killer". I have seen and used chemicals like this and the container is clearly marked either as Weed Killer which kills weeds but doesn't harm grass or it is marked as Grass/Vegetation Killer which kills anything green. I agree with the guy that the labeling should be completely clear as to which one it is. You shouldn't have to read page 2, paragraph 3, line 6 in the tiny instructions to know which product you have.

Sea lion attacks Shakira {Celestrellas}

Feb 14th 2012 4:40PM Lions are so cute I want to go up and pet them. Does anybody care? Exactly.

T-Mobile Launches Service to Prevent Texting While Driving {Just So You Know}

Jan 21st 2011 8:39PM Great idea. I appreciate a cell phone company that is finally thinking about safety as well as profits. Anybody who thinks they can consistantly text and drive a car at the same time please shoot yourself in the head now and save somebody else's life who does have a brain.

Brandie the "Death Row" Husky Gets To Go Home {Pawnation OLD}

Dec 10th 2010 12:10AM Before this dog is released it should be put in a similar situation with trained handlers to see how it reacts. If it shows the same aggression(some people think this is being protective which is wrong) then the owners have two choices; have the dog properly trained by a professional or have it put down. Sadly, there are lots of dog owners who still think that it is okay for their dog to react aggresssively to other dogs or even people thinking that this gives their dog some sort of honor. This is so wrong! A well adjusted and socially comfortable dog can be around other pets without barking and growling or worse. If not, bad things will happen.

Teen Drivers in New Jersey Balk at 'Scarlet Letter' Decals {ParentDish}

Jun 9th 2010 6:54PM I'm really not sure how putting a red sticker on the license plate of a teen driver makes them less likely to have an accident. I would think most accidents involving teens occur when they crash into someone because they are not paying attention, driving too fast or close, or speeding. Now if they put a big orange clown on the roof of their car so we can all see them coming and run the other way we might have something.

Steve McQueen's "Little Ferrari" for Sale {Luxist}

Mar 24th 2010 9:28PM Yeah, nice car but what sucks is the way these AOL articals are headlined to rope us into going to the artical so they can bombard on us with dozens of ads. The click through page of AOL is headlined "Steve McQueen's Ferarri for sale". The car is not a Ferarri but looks nearly identical to one. It was simply called by its second owner as his Little Ferarri. Obvioulsy in online operation "clicks are money" and real truth isn't important..

A Chat With the Brains Behind the Jaw-Dropping 'Life' {PopEater}

Mar 21st 2010 5:52PM "Can't stand all the ugliness and cruelty"? So the stuff humans do to other humans on a daily basis is okay? Two cops got shot today by a guy when they stopped his car. And in Illinois a toddler was beat up and smothered by his parents because he wouldn't stop crying. That is so less cruel than what animals do huh? Animals do it for survival. People do it so they can watch TV.

Valentin Technologies releases teaser images of 170 mpg IngoCar {Autoblog Green}

Mar 18th 2010 1:19AM Andy, I give you credit for trying but your post left me struggling to make out what you were saying. I'm no grammer specialist but dude, that wasn't close.
