Rush Limbaugh on George Steinbrenner: 'Cracker' Made Black Athletes Millionaires {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

Jul 14th 2010 12:57AM God bless you, "Boss".

Sympathy's to the Steinbrenner family, the Yankee organization & players, and baseball fans everywhere who understand that there was much more to the "Boss" then spending to improve his team. If American businessmen invested their profits into their businesses the way Mr. Steinbrenner did OUR economy would for sure be the envy of the world. If a leader takes and runs away with the profits he is doing a disservice to his organization.

And the Yankees put fans in the seats wherever they play. In turn they put $$'s into the teams they face and the cities where they play. I am a NY'er and I went to Chase Field in Phoenix in June and the place was 96% full for all three games. Normally they draw maybe 20,000.

To you who can not be gracious and sympathetic over a man's passing is simply sick. You need not agree with fans who loved and supported him. That's to be expected. But to disrespect a man who has just died is low class.

Jun 9th 2010 1:19AM Is this guy Koubek related to former NBA'er Latrell "thug" Sprewell?

What Pau Gasol Gave to the NBA {Fanhouse NBA Blog}

Jun 9th 2010 1:01AM This guy, Gasol, is a solid player. He works hard, passes well for any size player, and can put it in the hole from 15-18 feet out. And this is from a life longggggg Celtics fan.

Hey Doc..... gotta get more minutes for Nate Robertson, and better touches inside for Garnett. And Ray (Allen) get some rest! The "J" looked a bit tired tonite. We need you to spark on Thursday. And we'll be ok. And I stand by my prediction ... Boston in '7'

On a downward note..... the Lakers win tonite was without Kobe. And when the oppositions star has an off night your team should win.

John Wooden Reportedly in 'Grave Condition' {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}

Jun 4th 2010 11:04AM A true gentleman, a great coach, simply a LEGEND!

The world needs more men and women like Coach Wooden.

Ben Roethlisberger: Time to Move On {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Jun 3rd 2010 7:56PM "JERK", with a capital everything!

Just another example of a pampered life, making big bucks, and thinking "hey, I won a Super Bowl I must be special!"

To the youngsters..... pay more attention to the Tony Gwynn's, the Cal Ripken's, the Derek Jeter's, the David Wright's, Drew Brees, and guys that bloody get it. What does this jerk make a week, 52 weeks out of the year? Probably around $200,000. This to contributes to his immature, retarded, "I'm it" behavior.

Fans, focus on the players and the organizations that are about something more than themselves. When WE do, they'll clean their act up. At least most of 'em will. Same with OUR crooked politicians.

Go CELTICS!!!

Dangerous MLB Celebrations Must Stop {Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti}

Jun 1st 2010 7:46PM Athletes today, especially in the three major sports, forget they are playing a TEAM sport. I'm a baby boomer and when I played high school football and got it in the end zone my coach said don't act like you've never been there before. Just drop the ball or hand it to the ref and get back in the huddle for the PAT. TRULY GREAT PLAYERS like Mays, Mantle, Jimmy Brown, Paul Hornung, Hank Aaron, Roberto Clemente, Mike Schmidt, and on and on it goes didn't carry on like these clowns. Overpaid players who only can play "part" of the game act like idiots. I hope more break their legs.

Kareem to LeBron: Take Your Time {Fanhouse NBA Blog}

Jun 1st 2010 7:39PM King WHAT? Simply put ............. "way overrated!"

Not in the same class as Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Bryant, (and I am a Celtic fan), and so many other great players. GREAT players lift their fellow mates. James is all puff and powder.

Indians Pitcher Huff Struck in Head by A-Rod Liner {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

Indians Pitcher Huff Struck in Head by A-Rod Liner {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

May 30th 2010 4:59PM Who the hell are you to say such a judgemental thing??? I am a Yankees fan, and not a big fan of Rodriguez's, but he is human and demonstrated a lot of class and sensitivity going immediately to the hospital
Maybe you took one to the head yourself! Have you ever heard the expression that if you don't have something good to say, don't say it.Good sportsmanship, Alex, is what sports needs more of. Good gesture on your part.
