May 3rd 2009 8:02PM I see both your points of view, but for many imbibing and indulging in a celebratory fine bottle of champagne, and enjoying the distinctive qualities that make it "champagne" involve tradition, fluted glasses and the pop of the cork. Not a screw top!

May 2nd 2009 9:48PM Champagne sells seem down across the board, but the finer more expensive champagne and sparkling wines brands do seem to be hit the hardest. Hoping for a great holiday season!
