Jul 8th 2010 10:54AM I agree with "Concerned Wife"on this one. I am a "Sleep Apnea" sufferer, and it is indeed dangerous. While the snoring is one symptom, it is the least of the problem. People who suffer Sleep Apnea will literally stop breathing multiple times during the night, and will wake up gasping for air. I am one of those. I tested out as having over 500 Apnea episodes in a single night, and one time I went over 3 minutes without breathing! This is no joke and definitely does NOT belong on You Tube as some form of entertainment.
There are some medical processes that may help in some cases. There is a device called a CPAP, which is a snorkel type of unit that fits over the nose and keeps a constant positive air flow so the sufferer's throat remains open. IN my particular case, this was not an opition, There is also a surgery procedure, which I received, which helps, but not only does it have less than a 50% chance of fixing the Apnea problem, it creates new issues. In this procedure, the doctors remove the Uvulla from the back of your throat and aportion of the upper pallate, which leaves your throat more open.
The bad part I found about this? I now have to be extremely careful about how I eat and swallow any food or drink. If I don't, I end up with food or drink going up into my sinuses or straight to my lungs. If I cant a cold or have allergy issues, the junk in my sinuses flows straight to my lungs and I end up hacking like a 40 year smoker. The last way to fic Sleep Apnea is by far, the most undesireable. That is a permanant tracheatomy, or an open hole in your throat just below the adams apple. So, if you think snoring is funny, think again...

I dress how I feel like dressing, and forget anyone that doesn't like it. I live for me. If I want to, I will wear sandals with a dress suit. Not that I would, but you get my point.. Holidays like the 4th are designed for get togethers and eating. What would a 4th of July be without a BBQ burger, or ribs, or tri tip, or grilled corn, or....... You get my meaning. I am all for doing what I can to save the environment, and no cruelty to animals, BUT there is a limit. I DO belive in killing animals for food and their hides as needed for actual clothing or shoes. I do NOT believe in killing inedible animals for fur, but if we can eat it and get a nice fur, then I say go for it. Jun 30th 2010 10:31AM Personally,I can't stand Kanye West. But then again, I think that type of so-called "music" is trash. Hip hop, rap, whatever they are calling it this week is all nothing more that fast talking garbage that only uneducated morons can seem to tune in to.
I will say however, that West screwed up big time with his bumrushing of more than just one star but several in the past. I am one person that believes that on a personal level, people can change and I am always open to seehow someone like West may have changed, if at all. I say give the man some time and see how he moves forward. If he can show that he has learned to show respect for others, then let him be. After all, there are many other stars out there that are well deserving of our blasts. Tiger, Jesse, Lindsay. You get the idea...
