And now that scheming greasy crook Obama is doing his best to destroy the offshore oil industry in the Gulf too. I wouldn't be surprised if the federal govt. blew up that oil rig last spring to use as an excuse to stop all offshore drilling here, especially since Obama has a fortune of his own money invested in drilling for oil off the coast of Brazil.

Oct 24th 2010 7:37AM Big deal. What you northeastern yankees need to realize is that the rest of the country doesn't give two bits about your stinking N.Y. Yankees or Boston Red Sox or their feud with each other. I'm a Houston Astros fan but I'll definitely be pulling for the Rangers in this World Series. But I do congratulate Bochy and the Giants for winning the N.L. pennant. Should be a good Series. I'm anxious to see if our ace Cliff can best your ace Linscum.

Oct 22nd 2010 12:13AM I couldn't agree with you more Wendy. My big old tomcat Dopey is sleeping on my desk next to the keyboard as I'm typing here. I found him at the plant where I was working 12 years ago. He was starving and something had attacked his left ear. I ended up bringing him to the vet where they fixed up his ear, gave him his shots and neutered him so he wouldn't want to roam around. Now he's fat and happy and living into ripe old age. I only hope the little fellow trying to drink from that syringe leads as happy a life as Dopey has had.

Until MN gets a manager and some players with that Billy Martin or Ty Cobb attitude of going in the playoffs with the intention of kicking New York's butt they're never going to amount to anything. Their players obviously have no gonads at all. They looked like whipped pups before the first game even began. Leo Durocher was right. Nice guys do finish last. It's never been more obvious as when Minnesota always ruins the playoffs.

Oct 8th 2010 10:13PM Everytime Minnesota plays New York they have to play against both the Yankees and the umpires. Last year it was the same thing. Every close call went New York's way. Now I'm the first to admit that it's gotten to the point where Seattle or Baltimore would give New York a better battle than Minnesota, but it's become outrageously ridiculous the way the big market teams, especially the Yankees always, but always get the close (and not so close) calls their way. Oh, and for all those stupid Yankee fans who want to call me a crybaby for telling it like it is, you know where you can shove it.

This sounds like another freeloader trying to get something for nothing and hoping she'll get a car out of the deal. How much you wanna bet she threatens to sue the owner of the car lot and it's "settled" when he offers her a car instead of going to court. The owner should tell her to sue.
