Mar 4th 2010 11:04PM What is wrong with you??? Air traffic controllers are very highly trained people. They go to ATC college that takes longer than it does to be a pilot. Not to mention there is a shortage of them. So, yeah, lets fire him, thats a great idea, put more stress on the other controllers so something really bad can happen. Bright idea of the year award.
A person can get a private pilots license in a month or less, I seen it. They can get a commerical pilots license in monthes if they work at it hard enough. Relax

Mar 4th 2010 10:49PM Are you people stupid? The dad was right there in control the whole time. And look how clearly the boy spoke and PASSED on the directions to the pilots. This will be a bright kid. He is not on the streets, he is with his dad.........learning. Not only that, but did you hear the pilots voices...........it brighten there day and possibly everyone in the room. Lighten up, take a break.
And a pilot being freaked out and crashing or somthing over hearing a childs voice. Are you F-ing kidding? I am a pilot, you don't just freak out b/c a voice comes over the radio. It's a communication radio, voices are suppose to speak to you. I think this is the coolest thing. You should hear some of the acting up and "chit-chat" that goes on in a controlled airspace
