Mariano Rivera, Yankees Reportedly Reach 2-Year Deal {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Dec 3rd 2010 11:43AM MVP year in and year out? Give me a break. A closers role is an inning, rarely rarely more than that, sometimes less! The middle relievers do more than that to save a team since most starters rarely go past 6 innings. All closers have to do is NOT screw up and if they have at least a 3 run lead to start with, they get credit for a save. Thats a joke!
Does a Pro Bowl Berth Mean Anything? {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Jan 22nd 2010 1:56PM Totally stupid playing it before the Super Bowl, and not in Hawaii is another reason for guys to drop out. It was always worth the trip to take families and have a vacation. Now?...who cares! And if they make it to the super bowl? They cant play, period! The NFL gets dumbed down each year. Go back to Hawaii and after the SB, wake up will you? Goodbye TV ratings! (who will they blame this time??)
Three Auto Stocks to Rev Up Your Returns in 2010 {BloggingStocks}
Jan 18th 2010 11:52PM Brandon is making up things as he goes along. What he calls the Pelosi Energy Act of 2007 is a spending Bill "The Energy Independence and Security Act is an historic bill to make America more energy independent, respond to the global warming crisis, and grow our economy." You can read all about it on Pelosi's home page! http://www.speaker.gov/legislation?id=0131
Sorry Brandon, no loans, as reported earlier, Ford got loans the old fashioned way and they pay them back that way too! Learn to deal with facts and reality!
Grandeur of New Yankee Stadium Hurt By Bad Timing {Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti}
Apr 16th 2009 2:38PM isnt it odd after they dug up Big Papi's jersey (buried in cement) so there would not be a Red Sox curse in the new stadium, the first hit in the new stadium was by Johnny Damon, a former Red Sox player and the first run had former Red Sox players all over it too? K. Shoppach drove in the first run by hitting the ball over Johnny Damons head.... hmmmm, makes you wonder....LOL
Dallas High School Runs Up 100-0 Score in Girls' Hoops Game {Fanhouse Backporch}
Jan 22nd 2009 6:06PM Some of you guys need to read the article before you comment. A school for children with learning disabilities, which would be ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and a slew of other disabilities up against a what would be supposedly be called a religious school and you get a blood bath. It is very hard to coach children with disabilities but the fact they try is a the issue and for a school to beat on them like that is totally beyond the realm of sportsmanship. If anything, The Covenant School in Dallas should be the team removing itself from the league. I can only imagine the way they were beating them, they were probably laughing it up. As for thier coach, you do not deserve the title of coach, you stand relieved!
Choose Your Own Adventure: Manny Being Choosey in Free Agency {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Nov 18th 2008 10:26AM Julie, a player that pushes down senior citizens, fights with teammates, wont run out hits and claims to be hurt, but is miraculously healed after a trade and suddenly hits like crazy was definitely a problem. He carried a team down and his agents greed is what is the problem today! Very few teams will afford him and after the ink dries his attitude will wear on people. So yes, people can and do have bad things to say about Manny. Not about his abilities. It is about his proven attitude.
Choose Your Own Adventure: Manny Being Choosey in Free Agency {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Nov 17th 2008 11:22PM You can keep him on the left coast, the only other teams that can afford him (Yankmees) will make him cut the hair like they neutered Johnny Damon and he will have a hissy fit over that! He will play like a superstar until he gets that new contract and as the ink dries and he gets tired of being there, he will slip back into his antics as he did in Boston. He created his own problems up there and was about to be suspended for it when they got rid of him. Notice how after the trade he was suddenly "healed" and ready for a new contract? Amazing how that happens!
Hank Steinbrenner Confirms the Yankees Want to Sign: Everyone {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Nov 6th 2008 1:57AM because the yankees freely blow away the salary cap, other teams have no choice to do it if they want to compete. Even sstill, none come close to the amount the yankees go over but overpriced egos does not a team make! Until they can learn how to assemble a team in NY, they will be 3rd place caliber. Manny cant play there. Remember how they neutered Jonny Damon with the haircut and beard shaving? You think Manny would stand for that? The Dodgers will Pony up.
Headphones {Gadling}
Aug 20th 2006 7:08PM Bose has two types of headsets. At $130.00 price, they are not noise cancelling but the ones at $250 are and they work great. I average 5 flights a year from and to Hawaii and live for the peace and quiet. My wife has a pair of JVC noise canceling headsets and at 60 bucks, they were pretty good also. But the Bose quality is what sells me. Nothing compares!
Hawaii The New "It" Spot for Lux Condos {Luxist}
Jul 26th 2006 3:17AM Housing bubble has not burst at all on Oahu. Homes are still selling quite well and real estate agents are reaping the big benefits. My home doubled in value in less than three years and will be on the market soon. This will be my second time making a good profit in Hawaii, but this time I will put it in several acre's and a home in Texas and not have any house payments. Thats my real American dream becoming a reality. Oahu is screwed because of the poor planning by career politicians. Allowing all these new homes in Ewa and Kapolei without doing something about preexisting traffic jams is the problem. You dont build thousands of new homes and allow more without changing the infrastructure. "politicians/taxes/traffic" Thats the three key items causing people to leave Oahu behind.
