Shaq Divorcing Wife, Heading to Singles Bar {Blackvoices Main}

Sep 8th 2007 11:42AM I personally think it is a shame for many of those that have spoken re: the reason(s) WHY Shag and his wife are separating. First of all, "those of us without sin, throw the first stone". Those words sound familiar, or if they aren't written in the tabloids, or in a "rap song", MTV, BET. etc., we have never heard those words. Anyway, we as Black people are always concerned about how others "see" us, but yet doesn't hesitate to judge, abuse, etc. one another (Blacks) whenever the opportunitie(s) arise. Only God, Shag and his wife know the REAL reason(s) as to what is truly going on between them. I personally, am sad to see yet another marriage between two young people (rich or whatever) dissolve. ANY family can last if there is once a FOUNDATION (family/God) created in the beginning.

Lastly, the children; no matter how much money is involved and how much is spent re: their welfare, they will STILL be missing the security,togetherness, etc. of having BOTH parents in the home. So, instead of referring to "how big a hole" is left by Shag (sexually spoken about his wife), why for ONE second, can't something positive and or encouraging be done? Don't always be so quick to gloat,etc. over someone else's unhappiness. Take a good, hard look in YOUR mirror and what do YOU see?

American Airline's Next Generation Business Class {Luxist}

Jul 25th 2006 8:59AM Robert Kirkup - ten times as much!!?? Please!! I don't believe anyone is suggesting that the first/business class doesn't deserve their money's worth; the lower fares are simply asking for a bit more (to be included). If the First/Business class pays so much more, why doesn't at least ONE airline choose to cater to ONLY those fares? Are you suggesting that since this is the case, what does it matter regarding the lower fares? If so - shame on you!!

American Airline's Next Generation Business Class {Luxist}

Jul 25th 2006 8:52AM I am beginning to believe the quote "money talks"; it seems even though we live in the wealthiest country in the world, the "fat cats" and the "powers that be" are only interested in making MORE money, therefore catering to the ones with the "fat wallets". I agree that the "low cost" passengers are the ones that make it possible for the "new" changes. The same with the care of our children/elders. It could be said "if the low fares want to fly, "they" have to accept the "conditions". Perhaps there is someone(s) in future that will care enough to at least manifest a few changes without thinking of one's own pocket(s).
