Obama Invites GOP to the Table on Health Care Reform Bill {Politics Daily}
Feb 7th 2010 7:54PM Throw the 2000+ page healthcare reform bill in the trash and start over. Write it in plain English a piece at a time and vote on a piece at a time. That way no party can hide things in the bill that have nothing to do with healthcare reform. Who in the hell ever said everything about healthcare had to be in one bill? I believe it would be only those in Congress who have a hidden agenda and are looking to profit from the confusion of such a big bill that some in Congress have admitted they would vote on without even reading.
Senators Clash Over Don't Ask, Don't Tell as Top Pentagon Brass Calls for Repeal {Politics Daily}
Feb 2nd 2010 10:41AM When serving your country it is not about you or your sexaul preference it is about serving your country. Individual preferences are of no interest in the training process but weather you can do your job as a unit. There are no individuals in the service. If a gay person was out in the real world applying for a job would they find it necessary to tell the recruiter that they were gay? I don't think so because the person only wants to know if you can do the job not who you sleep with and no where on an application does it ask your sexual preference.
Now What? Democrats Struggle to Make Sense of Losses {Politics Daily}
Jan 23rd 2010 12:11PM The change that needs to be made is in the Congress. I think a lot more people are looking for candidates they can trust making more people independent voters. I am looking for a candidate that can think outside the political party line---an independent thinker that cares more about the country and the people of America than their political party's agenda.I am tired of a Congress and a President that try to tell us what we want and can't hear us shouting hell no. If we change the Congress maybe we can get this President on track and have them do the job they were elected to do---Serve the People.
Axelrod Says Health Reform Supporters Are on the 'One Yard Line' {Politics Daily}
Dec 20th 2009 6:09PM I am outraged that votes were gotten by blackmail and bribery. If I offered perKs to a Congressman and he took it I would be on my way to jail, he would probably be promoted to the Speaker of the House. This entire Congress needs to be removed and the sooner the better. Neither of the parties are interested in putting an end to this bill and starting over so they can do it right with the taxpayers needs comming first not party or President or their self serving interests. Getting it pasted by a certain date is the dumbest reason to vote for it.
Health Care Breakthrough: Ben Nelson Will Vote for Health Reform {Politics Daily}
Dec 19th 2009 6:04PM I thought it is a crime to take or offer a bribe for a vote. I find this whole government system to be a farce. I will never understand how this congress can write a piece of crap and then actually push to vote on it rather then take their time and do it right. What the hell am I paying these people for???
Levi Johnston, Put Your Pants On {Politics Daily}
Nov 29th 2009 6:56PM Someone should tell Levi to put his Levi jeans back on. Can't imagine why anyone would be interested.
Both Obama, Republicans Get Lower Marks on Working Together {Politics Daily}
Nov 8th 2009 5:16PM Obama has publicly attacked the Republicians every chance he gets. He was hoping to keep this smokescreen up while the Congress rammed through a worthless healthcare plan. Too bad the American people aren't falling for that scam anymore. Obama is not open to any change to his idea of a healthcare plan except cost. He doesn't care how much it cost or where he gets the money for it. This Congress and Obama have yet to address this issue so this bill should not pass.
House Narrowly Passes Historic Health Care Bill {Politics Daily}
Nov 8th 2009 12:27AM Is it a requirement for all government employees to take a drug test? If Nancy Pelosi thinks this is the greatest bill she must be smoking crack.Where does she think the money to fund this will come from? The government is only guessing at the price tag for this bill and most of them haven't read or understood what they read and Obama is willing to sign any type of healthcare bill that comes across his desk.. Seeing I pay their wages I demand that they take the healthcare that is offered in this bill because I can't afford to pay for their healthcare and they can put their pensions in social security because as their employer I can't afford that either. It will help pay back all the social security money they have been using since the 1960's to fund social plans and never putting any of it back. This government has no money to spend for anything but they keep spending and act like they have a never ending supply of cash from the taxpayers. Just because someone earns a lot of money does not mean that this overspending; wasteful, useless Congress gets to take as much of their money as they want.
The Point: Was the Election About Obama? {Sphere Lite}
Nov 4th 2009 1:40PM Not every thing is about Obama. I hardly think that anyone was thinking of Obama when they cast their vote because people were voting for someone to represent the people of their state and it appears they were looking for change.
Ian McKellen 'Proudly' Rips Leviticus 18:22 Out of All Bibles {PopEater}
Nov 2nd 2009 3:14PM In God's eyes homosexual behavior is an abomination. Tearing out a page of the Bible does not change that fact. Just childish behavior by a supposed adult.
