SEC Porn Probe: Workers Viewed Sex Materials as Economy Tanked {Politics Daily}

Apr 24th 2010 12:51AM More than half the accused workers were very well paid -- making between $99,000 and $223,000 annually.
If these people were fired it would show that the government was serious about cutting wasteful spending.

COBRA, unemployment benefits extended for two more months {WalletPop}

Apr 19th 2010 1:55PM I think the government's main focus should have been on creating jobs It appears by the number of un-employed that most people like to work and take care of themselves and most jobs come with health benefits. If the Congress work force was cut in half, those who remainded had there wages froze or cut and they had there health benefits cut and their pensions put into social security they might have an idea of what it is like in the real world.

Democratic Leaders Confident that Health Reform Measure Will Pass {Politics Daily}

Mar 21st 2010 3:14PM Maybe history can be made again in November by replacing the entire Congress. Or the people of America can disolve the entire government tomorrow. The headlines could read "Government employees scrambling for jobs but there aren't any!" I wonder if anyone thought that if they worked harder on creating jobs we would not need this BIG healthcare reform bill as many people would have a job and healthcare. The number of those in need would be smaller the bill would be smaller the tax base larger and it would be easier to help those who need it.

Which Senator Has a Secret 'Hold' on Gay Nominee Chai Feldblum? {Politics Daily}

Mar 4th 2010 12:37PM They put a hold on her nomination and that of four others. So what does this have to do with her being gay??? Just another mindless article looking to invent trouble where there is none.

Obama on Health: Stunning Arrogance or the Edmund Burke Theory of Leadership? {Politics Daily}

Mar 4th 2010 12:23PM What is in this healthcare reform bill? A few good ideas and a crap load of bad ideas? An arrogant President and a hand full of ignorant Congress members does not make a bad bill good. I think this government thinks we are all stupid and are surprised that we know more about the economic impact of such a large sweeping bill. If the President thought that putting some people behind him in lab coats makes me think this bill is great than he must be stupid. Should I think they represent the medical community or the drug companies as they both wear lab coats.

Criticism of Embattled Charlie Rangel Grows Louder {Politics Daily}

Mar 1st 2010 4:46PM Pelosi said Rangel's alleged misdeeds have not "jeopardized our country in any way." I wonder what she calls lack of confidence in this sitting Congress means? They not only want us to pay them and give them nice benefits to do nothing but they also want to lie, cheat, and steal from the American taxpayer and tell us they can keep thier jobs no matter what we think. The government is completely out of control and it is time to put a stop to this shameful behavior.

Obama Prods GOP to Compromise on Health Care Reform {Politics Daily}

Feb 28th 2010 12:22AM The entire Congress and this President need to compromise. Write a healthcare reform plan for the people. Why are they insisting it needs to be this long winded piece of garbage? Write smaller bills that we all understand..no one in there right mind should think healthcare reform can be written in one bill. This all or nothing attitude is BS. The Congress has forgotten what it means to be a working American. Fire them all and see how fast they can get a new job. Oh thats right there aren't any jobs!

Nicaragua's Abortion Ban Is Inhumane and Backward {Politics Daily}

Feb 25th 2010 3:38PM vammatar's description of Christians could fit those who use abortion as birth control.

Obama Health Care Plan's Price Tag Jumps to $950 Billion {Politics Daily}

Feb 22nd 2010 4:54PM The cost is too high and the bill is too big. Time to stop talking party politics and get real. Start small voting on those things that can be agreed upon writing small bills in terms that everyone can understand. Then the Congress can stop spending and start cutting the budget and any other wasteful spending and come up with the money to pay for this bill. I find it hard to believe that the Congress has wanted healthcare reform but none of them thought about how it would be paid for with out increasing taxes. They need to be put on a small budget where they have to think before they spend, their wages frozen and benefits cut, cut cost and stop programs that are not vital, and stop thinking money grows on trees. Makes you wonder what they think thier job is and why we are paying them and giving them the best benefits---maybe it is time they went out and got a real job! Oh I forgot there aren't enough jobs and depening on what state they are from there might not be any jobs.
