Mar 7th 2010 4:09AM Mark, I'm sorry to disabuse you of the notion that "real men drink beer". Real men drink tequila shooters but in moderation.
Mar 7th 2010 3:48AM My fondest hope is that I'll never again be verbally assaulted by Aretha Franklin butchering up the national anthem.
Mar 6th 2010 7:17PM "Wine judge".....LMAO......I'm always amused when I get around of a group of wine snobs with all their petty little machinations and rituals. One of Shakespeares works come to mind....."Much Ado About Nothing" LOL
Mar 6th 2010 7:01PM Avoid all the human detritus who flock to airports with their irritating habits and learn to fly, as I did over 20 years ago. I can make any trip out to about 600 miles and be on the ground before anything but a direct flight aboard an airliner. I can enjoy the much more congenial atmosphere in the general aviation terminal and lounge.....I can listen to music, which I rarely do, eat snacks I've brought along with me and generally enjoy the solitude that is available in a private aircraft should I choose to fly alone. In addition I can fly into smaller airports that aren't crowded and aren't served by a commercial airline. Trust me, it's worth the expense and training and I recommend it to others who might be similarly inclined. Incidentally it's NOT terribly difficult to learn.
Mar 6th 2010 1:06PM I agree with Elf....Joe Morgan is a non stop irritant and should be put out to pasture and OUT of television.
Mar 5th 2010 8:22PM "Mo'nique" ? LMAO. That's almost as good as one I found in the sunday paper under "birth announcements"....."De'Jarius Zaquan".....ROFL....I don't recall the last name but it was just a mundane name. There is often some inexpensive amusement to be found in the newspaper...LOL
Mar 4th 2010 8:15AM I have great admiration for this women. I hope you win gold, Lisa. BRAVO.
Mar 1st 2010 8:16PM There are no more actors like Jimmy Stewart in Hollyweird....He's before my time but I've read a great deal about this man. A family man who flew 25 combat missions over Germany in B-24s and B-17s. He was a colonel at the end of the war and promoted to Brigadier General in the Air Force Reserve after the war. Most of those in Hollywood today are useless dilettantes whose lives are constantly in turmoil.
Feb 28th 2010 6:43AM This isn't the future....in the future we'll all eat soylent green.
Feb 28th 2010 6:39AM I found that cabbage is nutritious and very cheap...same with sweet potatoes (yams) and rutabegas.
