Mar 18th 2010 3:20PM Bicyclists ARE irritating when encountered on the highways. They don't seem to notice they're holding up traffic and just go on their merry way, with the silly helmets, water bottles and all the other accoutrements they have. Paved highways are for MOTORIZED traffic,not bicycles. I've wanted to run over some of them too. I never have, but the thought has crossed my mind a few times.

Mar 16th 2010 5:01PM I live in the deep south and several years ago I stopped beside the highway to see if two women driving a car with a New York license plate needed help. They had a flat tire and I offered to change it for them...I was cursed for my efforts. I've met ill mannered women before but I was astonished by this episode.

Mar 16th 2010 4:43PM I'd add one thing to their gloves, baskets and other accoutrements they take along on these expeditions.......At the very least a quality .38 special revolver. A double action revolver requires no knowledge of firearms to shoot...just pull the trigger and BANG. If one of them was knowledgable about firearms, then maybe a .45 ACP, 1911 or 1911A1. They wouldn't need a heavy magnum caliber, just a reliable gun. There mere sight of a firearm could save their lives. I can't wait to hear the responses to this post. Let the whining and howling begin. lol

Mar 12th 2010 3:27PM Biographical information on this nut, "Rev" Jim Wallis sounds more like "Father" Charles Coughlin back in the great depression. "Social Justice" smacks of the demands for reparations from certain minorities, the redistribution of wealth and a country where the federal government runs everything. I'm sure Joseph Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili....(some might know this man as Joseph Stalin), Karl Marx, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez would love what those scrofulous little poltroons currently in congress are doing. A clue to their identies: Look for left wing loons like Charles Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, "Benedict" Arlen Spector and Harry Reid. For those who want to see Glen Beck off the air...tough. He's there to stay whether you like it or not.
