May 30th 2008 1:00AM I'm a parent of 3 healthy (not overweight) kids! my oldest is 14...I have never let stuff like this bother me! I don't get why fellow americans get so worked up over this stupid stuff! People will send there kids out of the room when a naked or topless female comes on the screen, but not care when there is such violence on the screen such as shootings, bombings, etc....they listen to rapp music that is mostly about meaningless sex, reality shows that premote our teens to act like spoiled brats....but yeah, your right......lets get really worked up over a freakin cheeto!!!!
C'mon, are you serios???? I'm thinking we have bigger fish to fry these days than a darn cheetto's add!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May 23rd 2008 7:06PM I must say that I do not think that early birds are ok! I hate that! And I'm sorry if it makes me look rigid...I'm not rigid, I think that being up and out there in my garage at 8am is early enough! I'm not getting up any earlier so I don't upset the early bird shoppers!!! when you put a certain time it should be followed! Being to early is just rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all money issues w/ your bridal party way before hand! Don't assume
just because you pick out a certain dress,shoes,jewlery,and so on for
your bridal party doesn't mean they could afford it! Make sure you set
a reasonable budget and clue them in immediatley! I just think
spending a boat load of money on a dress bridesmaids will probably
never wear again is nuts! Keep in mind they have bills to pay and
they work hard for that money, so don't be so quick to spend it!
Having a beautiful wedding is wonderful, but I just think that some
brides loose sight of what that day is REALLY about! I had a
gorgeous wedding, but I also knew that it costed them money to be a
part of my big day..so I made sure that everything I had picked out
was within reason for everyone! It makes for a much happier bridal
party! and one other tip..remember "After the wedding ends, the
marriage begins"! :)

I can't believe all of the Jordin bashing in here on how she's just a teenager & how she just stands like a statue..That girl can sing! I'm 33 yrs. old and originally I was voting for Gina, but then turned to Jordin. However, I knew all along she would be in the finals! So no, its not just teenyboppers voting for Jordin! Lakisha and Melinda will get record deals too I'm sure! Thats what makes American Idol great..is that each singer has something different!

Mar 6th 2007 3:32PM Madonna wasn't 10 years old trying to dress like a hoochie! Madonna was in her 20's! I remember Idolizing her and my mother told me, she is an adult, you are not! You are going to dress like a decent 11 yr. old girl! My mother monitored what I wore, and If I tried to push to much, She took the tight jeans, or whatever it was away from me!
And now that I am a mother of a 9 yr. old girl, I understand exactly!
Madonna isn't doing anything that a decent Mother wouldn't do! When her daughter is an adult, I'm sure at that point she will figure the girl needs to make her own choices. But for now, her daughter is a child, and she wants her to to look like a child....Not a cheap, teenager or mini adult!!!
