It transcends everything that is physical. I should know because I am in love with my wonderful boyfriend who is my best friend and has taught me what true unconditional love is about.
I'm a black woman and yes, I've dated black guys before. In fact, I've dated Europeans, African Americans, Asians, and African men before. I've basically done it all, and not once did I decide to date or not date any of those men based on what colour their skin was. No it was about what was on the inside, their personality, character, and most of all how they treated me as a person. I just happened to fall in love with an extraordinary man who was white and was everything I wanted and more.

Mar 3rd 2009 2:55PM I guess I'm a traditional type of girl. I refuse to pay for any date I'm asked out on. How much that date costs doesn't really bother me. But if you ask me out, why should I pay for the date? I didn't ask to go out with you...anyway that's just my opinion. Secondly, I treat every guy I'm with like a king. (Cook him breakfast, give him massages, be there for him whenever, etc.) Therefore I expect to be treated like a queen by him (ex. chivalric actions like opening the door for me).
