Jul 29th 2010 2:37PM The bottom line is.... We should probably put the prison food prep administrators to work in the school districts to provide these same meals to the kids. Trust me, as someone who knew all too well about the swill that came out of my cafeteria in New York ( that's all I'll say ), Turning 16 in Mar. of my freshman year, was a blessing. Had my own car ( a '65 Rambler Ambassador ), & a McDonalds 1 mi. down the road. Friends of mine called my car " The Mexican Bandelaro " when we were making a lunch run. ( Not sure why the name, I'm not Hispanic, & Ramblers were AMERICAN Motors products. Must be something to do with how many used to cram into the car. I'm not telling. Rest assured it wasn't legal ) Even though it was McDonalds, we ate better than the school did.

Jul 16th 2010 11:59AM I'll never get over the look on someones face when they pulled a #2 on me. I just took the divider stick & put it in my cart until I was done. I had a full cart & took up the whole belt. If I had done nothing, the back-up would have caused a real problem for the checker. As it was, she just smiled at me & said 'thank you'.
