AirAsiaX mulls charging passengers by weight {Gadling}

Aug 5th 2008 3:50PM This is why I just stopped flying and started driving everywhere. Screw the time inconveinence or the extra costs, it's not worth the hassle of flying. I don't need to go overseas because there are still plenty of things in this country I would love to do.

Polar bear Knut senselessly murders ten carp in front of zoo visitors {Gadling}

Apr 13th 2008 11:43AM What's more natural: a polar bear eating fish or a polar bear encaged for viewing pleasure?

Fan Sent to Jail for Assaulting Mike Piazza {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

Mar 28th 2008 12:24PM Piazza didn't sentence him, he simply pressed the charges. It was the judge who mandated the sentence, dumb ass!

GM's Bob Lutz: Global warming is a "total crock of sh*t" {Autoblog Green}

Feb 15th 2008 12:26PM As Valentine's Day was just upon us, I got to thinking. As humans, we're incredibly wasteful and destructive. Look at this "holiday". How many flowers are grown just to be cut for this holiday? What resources are used to grow these flowers? What resources are used to deliver these flowers? What about cards? How many trees are cut down just to tell someone who already knows it that you love them? I'm not saying a certain amount of joy and pleasure doesn't go along with the holiday. It does, but is it a necessity? No. It's wastefulness. This is just one day out of the year and one specific event. It's happening everyday, everywhere. Cars are just the easiest to blame. They're not destorying the environment, people are with their focus on their wants and desires versus their needs and the environment's needs. And honestly, I'm just as guilty as anyone else. We only have ourselves to blame.

Tired of traveling overweight? Try Tonga! {Gadling}

Feb 7th 2008 9:29AM Why is it that when we talk about fat people we talk about heart disease and diabetes? Do you honestly think that every fat person has these ailments? Do you think that only fat people have these diseases? This is why there is a place like this; because of people like you.

Without fat you can't have skinny. With out bad there can't be good. Etc. People are people and you just have to accept them for who they are.

I can honestly tell you and everyone else that I am overweight. It's not out of laziness or a medical condition. I like food. I like to eat. That's all. I'm very active, I work hard, and I take very good care of myself. I don't drink or smoke. I enjoy my life, and I will die knowing that I have enjoyed my life; not having worried about ridiculous stuff like a few extra pounds. I hope you can say the same.

Matthew McConaughey to soften his six-pack {That's Fit}

Jan 29th 2008 3:07PM Think of it as $1,000,000 per pound. Want me to gain ten to fifteen pounds? Gladly! The weight can always be lost.

You have to work for your money! {WalletPop}

Jan 23rd 2008 11:21AM I believe in honesty and karma, but I also believe in stupidity. If you are that careless to not notice that nearly a half million dollars is missing, then its your own fault. As people, too often when we make a mistake, we look for whom to blame. Oh, I fell down... Who do I sue? I'm unhappy with my marriage... My parents didn't show me enough love. We've been depositing money in your account for five years... You're stealing from us! Take responsibility and accept your own mistakes. It sucks, but somebody has to.

Louisiana Town Ditches 666 Area Code Over Religious Concerns {Switched}

Jan 10th 2008 1:52PM Topeka, Kansas uses 666** zip code. I always get a kick out of it because that's where I have to send my taxes! Figures that somewhere you have to send tax payments too would have 666 in the zip code!

UK scientist: Young women can fight global warming by realizing Ferraris don't make a guy sexy {Autoblog Green}

Dec 19th 2007 10:55AM Stupid.

How many people do you know that commuted to work in a Ferrari. Yes, Ferrari's put out more emissions than your Hybrid, but they are driven considerably less.

My brother came down on my father one day for driving a Chevy Suburban and that it was not a fuel efficient vehicle and bad for the environment. My father simply said to him, "Who do you think puts out more carbon dioxide? Me, with my ten mile commute. Or your Mother, with her 75 mile commute (150 round trip)?"

His response was simply, "Oh."

Think before you speak.

Who would you like to sit with on a plane? {Gadling}

Nov 2nd 2007 9:25AM I'd sit next to any celebrity on a plane because it would mean that I'm not sitting in coach!
