Dubai has been my top destination to visit since my trip to Bahrain in 2003. The UAE is rich in many ways and not just with horse racing, ultra-modern hotels/resorts, etc...
The best making a "best business decision". It will raise the bar for anything he chooses to design or build in the U.S. and it certainly will entice U.S. citizens who play golf and would not otherwise choose to go to Dubai to discover this fascinating and wonderful destination.

A man's sharing of HIMSELF is better.
I would think a much better gift would be the man picking out a great relationship book (i.e. His Needs/Her Needs by Willard Harley) and reading the chapters with the lady.

A wonderful day with that special person, a new set of golf clubs or a golf outing together...reading a couples/relationship book together...all would be best in my book.
That a man share HIMSELF and always show respect and consideration to the special person in his life is what my needs/desires are. It's the little things he does (acts of service) and how often a couple smile and laugh versus gifts.
A 7 year old may appreciate the "pinkness" but a knife would be inappropriate for her. I prefer earth tones, browns, blacks, beiges, hunter greens, grays (greys)...
p.s. I've had a Swiss Army Knife on my keychain for many, many years...
