Feb 5th 2011 8:25AM When shopping for an iPad last summer or fall the only units I could find were the 3G models - all WiFi only were on back order. Seems to me that they misjudged the demand. People desperate for iPad may have purchased 3G simply because it was their only impulse option. Too much upfront cost for the luxury of 3G for me.
Sep 23rd 2010 10:00AM Nice prize to offer - thanks!
Jan 19th 2010 8:08AM Readers would be better served by categories as "Best Airport to be Stuck At". SLC is a humdrum, boring airport with lousy food. Thank goodness they have such a good on-time departure percentage!
"Airport with Cleanest Restrooms"
"Airport with Best Chair Massages"
"Airport with Most Electrical Outlets for charging your laptop, cell and any other rechargeable device you drag around the country with you"
"Airport with the Cleanest Carpets" (no winner in this category...)
Jun 24th 2009 8:51AM This program was doomed from the start. I was a early adopter but quickly realized that all I paid for was a "cut to the front of the line" card. There was actually more hassle - from the beginning with the biometrics and background checks to at the airport where a multiple ID check and fingerprint scan were required. All so I could jump in front of 17 people in line. Brill has attempted to distance himself from this debacle, but it is all of his making. While not technically a scam, it was pitched as a promise of something that they knew they could probably never deliver. And then just blame it on TSA. My 1 year membership was extended at least 14 months past the original expiration date and after that nearly every day I would receive an email begging me to return and pay $179 for the privilege. My email responses never received replies. They deserve whatever evil comes to them - especially Brill for orchestrating this mess and then blaming the new owners for allowing his failed plan to...fail. Perhaps his new web news venture will flourish like his magazine. Doh!
Mar 8th 2009 7:41AM Angie Everhart has already got a reality series on the air about "climbing" Kilimanjaro. Can we have a fund raiser where celebrities that take themselves too seriously jump off a mountain? One more substantial than this? I donate for that.
Dec 14th 2008 6:55AM Aside from agents, managers, attorneys and entourages, today you need a decent accountant to advise you on how to manage your annual income to avoid ridiculous situations such as these.
Dec 9th 2008 6:42AM The wrist rainbow would be for my daughter who is graduating from college. Hopefully the symbolism of the rainbow will be encouraging that by graduation the economic storm will be over and brighter times are ahead.
Dec 4th 2008 7:35AM It may be time for any color of Bond, but it is not time for an a-hole Bond.
