Apr 27th 2011 11:46AM Give Kate and William a break! It is obvious they are of the new breed of royals and trying to change things to a small degree. You have to start out small, and gradually change things at a larger level. His Mom brought him up well to respect that others did not have it as good as he and his brother, I for one, wish them great happiness. The royals work very hard, Princess Anne has more engagements to fulfill then any of them, but she does so without being in the limelight, as she desires. People would be surprised how much she does for her country.

May 17th 2007 9:10AM If I have to listen to anymore of that beat-boxing from Blake I think I will scream. I betcha he puts that stuff into the finale music, too. I think he would have made it in the eighties but not now. When the guest group Maroon was on and sang their song that Blake had also sung, I was embarrassed for Blake. His version was so pathetically amateurish compared to theirs...it was glaringly obvious. Melinda should have won OR come in second. This contest is supposed to be about who is the best singer, NOT hairdos, clothes, etc. If Blake wins, I predict another "Taylor Hicks Syndrome"..people will get tired of Blake real quick..

May 17th 2007 9:04AM I am shocked and so disappointed. Melinda was obviously the best singer of the three. If I have to listen to the same old style from Blake I will go insane..I am not watching the finale so thankfully I do not have to worry about that. Also, is it me or has Jordan seemed to have gotten an attitude? That bothered me a little. Simon, say what you will about him, is very well known in the music business and his savvy and good ear for music. One would do well to listen to him. She came across the other night like she was already famous and too good to listen to his advice. Elliott made my day. He looked great, and like the TV Squad commentator said, he sounded better than the established stars they have had on there. He sounded and looked like a seasoned pro but he had a humble and sincere attitude. So the voters probably did Melinda a favor keeping her as third. Where is Taylor Hicks..and Katherine McPhee? neither of them is doing that great. Blake was so behind Melinda and Jordin vocally...I could tell the judges were upset also.
So Melinda this is for you: You sparkled and shone unlike any contestant before you....and like you will be back on next year promoting a hit CD and sounding even MORE like the pro you already sound like. God Bless you...

May 16th 2007 1:13PM I have to agree with one of the other people that posted--Blake is simply not in the same league as Jordin and Melinda. Everything he sings sames pretty much the same and it sounds amateurish compared to the two ladies. He is cute as can be, but he is just not as polished as the two ladies. I personally hope Melinda wins. She blew it out of the water last night!

May 3rd 2007 1:09PM PERSONALLY I find Blake fairly annoying. He sounds whiney and pretty much the same every week. Phil had come a LONG way and I was very sad to see him go. Jordin is so so good but she did SO badly on the Bon Jovi songs (she sounded like a shrill sick cat) that I wanted her off..that is how badly she did. I have a feeling Phil is going to go a long way..and I started out not a fan of his at all. I just do not see what all the fuss is about Blake. He is okay--nothing less, nothing more...
