Sep 10th 2009 8:28AM Barbara Walters LOVES the glam of competetion!!! She is always mentioning this on The View. She comes to the set 'buzzing like a bee' to comment about the talents and such from watching those shows....
Ellen would be my last person to ever think of being a judge for American Idol.
Someone in showmanship....dance, theater, singing, etc...like BETTE MIDLER, or anyone else actively insync to this type of talent, would be a much better judge.

Feb 15th 2008 11:18AM A Pet Peeve at a Restaurant, is:
#1..When the place is not full of people, yet, and the Host seats you right Next to a table where there are others sitting. (Privacy?...duh)
#2..When you sit for 5-10 minutes and no service at the table, yet.
#3..When you are ready to 'eat' and they take your order for drinks first, then disappear for another 10 minutes....when you could have given the FOOD ORDER WITH THE DRINK ORDER.
#4..When they return your change with 'LARGE' BILLS instead of dollar ones....(duh....no fat chance for a good tip here....PLEASE BRING ME SOME CHANGE....)
#5..When someone nearby is 'advertising herself/himself' talking on their cell phone....loudly....and the host or other employee does not quietly tell the patron to speak softer or go outside to use the cell phone.
#6..When the FOOD does not LOOK LIKE the food photo on the Menu.
#7..When the Waiter is FOREVER LATE coming back to check on how things are...food, water, drinks, even the bill.

PRICK WITH A KNIFE.
PLACE IN BOWL.
MICROWAVE UNTIL DONE....10-15 MIN. DEPENDING ON MICROWAVE.
PLACE COOKED POTATOES IN PAN.
ADD LOTS OF MARGARINE AND ONION SALT...(NOT PLAIN SALT)
MASH WITH POTATO MASHER.
YUMMMMMMMM.....NEVER FAILS AND A FAVORITE EACH TIME I MAKE THIS.
(I TRIED TO BOIL POTATOES...AND THE FLAVOR WAS GONE)
NO KIDDING, THIS METHOD WORKS EVERY TIME!!!!

NO MATTER, ALL OF THE DANCES WERE COOL TO WATCH, AND IT IS THE FAD THING TO DO NOW....LOOK AT ALL THE WEDDING RECEPTIONS OF CHOREOGRAPHING OF MOVEMENTS.....
I THOUGHT THIS WAS A CREATIVE WAY TO KEEP 'CRIMINAL' MINDS ACTIVE AND A POSITIVE WAY TO KEEP THEM HUMAN AND NOT INHUMANE.

Thank you for making clear how our present Leader has gone way off base.
He dug his own hole for redicule.
The View is about people's points of view, and I am surprised Rosie accept her chair at the table.
She has so much more on the brain game, than the Media wants to hear.
Rosie had enough...and she is intelligent enough to walk away from the mickey mouse program.
I watched the View because Rosie had something worthwhile to say.

I pay a multitudes of Taxes.
...for the exclusive Christmas Decorations at the White House?
...for innocent, intelligent men and women going to a nation to kill innocent civilians?
...for the President to be given a free ride on the many private planes he uses?
...for weapons to kill others?
...for billions to go to NASA?
We have poor people here, and Katrina is an excellent example of how 'low' our Government handled it.
What? Priorities in other places other than in America?
