Jan 30th 2011 2:13PM After over 60 years I have found the best tasting and most frugal (cheapest) method and brand. Put a heaping coffee measure of Kirkland, Costco brand ground coffee into a large ceramic or stainless teapot or coffee pot then pour in 32 ounces of boiling water. Let it stand for at least 10 minutes, stir, let the grounds settle, then pour through a fine strainer. Give your cuppa joe 20 sec. in the micro if you want it scalding hot. Do the same method for loose tea.
Jan 6th 2011 9:47PM Replaced all the glass...still losing heat. Got to replace the old stuff in the attic I guess,. or just put new insulation on top of the old. I put up insulated curtains on the windows but wifey took them down ( didn't like the color after painting the rooms) and she put thin ones in thier place then griped about the cold glass. ho hum

Dec 19th 2010 5:37AM The shopper can control the price by stocking up at least a 6 months supply when the price is low and not buying when it is high, as we do.
