Krispy Kreme to offer free doughnuts on Inauguration Day {WalletPop}
Jan 18th 2009 12:03PM If you want to support all the unwanted babies that are in America, and pay through the age of 18 for all of their food, shelter, basic needs, education, clothing, health and dental insurance, for their mothers who cannot afford them, then by all means let Krispy Kreme and Planned Parenthood know. And the federal government who hands out millions of dollars to support these mothers and children for years through programs like WIC and food stamps.
You apparently did not read about the mother collecting $1700 a month after 4 of her 5 children were removed from the home because of the abusive father. The mother was not honest in not taking the free handout we were paying for until she went to court on the abusive husband on a domestic.
PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS. I AM TIRED OF PAYING FOR IT AND NO ONE EVER GAVE ME FREE HANDOUTS UNLESS IT WAS A CHEAP DOUGHNUT.
Milan's Poor Get Caviar For Christmas {Luxist}
Dec 24th 2008 8:26PM They should sell it to some of the upscale restaurants, and then purchase food that would be more likely eaten! Many people do not care for caviar, so this would ensure a good $ take for the food pantries that would also be longer lasting - how much does it cost per ounce of cavier? $$$ that is what I thought!

Nov 25th 2008 8:35AM A few years ago my cell was missing and we couldn't find it. We tried calling it to get it to ring, to locate it, but to no avail. The mystery was finally solved when I was cleaning out the dog's crate, and found a well chewed phone in pieces. It was all there, but in parts!

Nov 5th 2008 10:56PM Bush wasn't the only one to work on the economy's downturn. And it wasn't just uneducated blacks and whites that voted for McCain. Look back at the 1980's when companies and the banking system began to give loans for housing that individuals could not really afford, but signed for, and then the interest rates increased. Bush was not in the office then. ACORN supplied backing for these loans. Look back further than the current presidency (in office now) and you will see a trend of credit problems that have built up nothing but problems for our competing with the Jones' attitude. Have any of you looked at the credit card debt load of the average U.S. citizen? And for what...lattes and such? If you are all so educated, you would be more than aware of this. Obama and McCain are both correct in that this country needs to work together as united to move forward to get through this difficult economic period.
