Palin, a Heroine to the Tea Party, Gets High Negatives From General Public {Politics Daily}
Mar 28th 2010 7:53PM *heh* I read that headline as "a heroin of the Tea Party" and I thought.. yup.. that fits.
Barack Obama a Profile in Courage -- Even If He's Wrong on Health Care {Politics Daily}
Mar 24th 2010 9:12AM The GOP acted in an honorable way? What universe are you in?? They have lost all sense of honorable. The fact we are the ONLY developed nation with the health care costs we have; no nationalized point of health care coverage/balance says it all.
Yes.. let's thank that wonderful GOP party for allowing Enron to play with the commodity market to "protect" their future contracts since that GOP sponsored precedent is what allowed Morgan Stanley and other Wall Street firms to drive up the oil commodity market so we, The People, were paying $4 a gallon (when supply was up and demand was down, btw).
Honorable? Please. The GOP and the Tea Party makes me ashamed, not to be American since I still think the principles upon which this country were founded are above reproach, but it makes me ashamed of our education system and any number of our politicians who serve themselves first at the table the taxpayers' supply while leaving us in the dust.
If the GOP gave a hoot - - let them vote to take away their own health insurance and crazy pensions; let them vote to not allow more than 2 terms; let them live in the real world WHILE they supposedly serve the people of this country.
And, don't even get me started on Irag because the only reason Iran is where it is now is because we took the only regional deterrent out of that area... yeah.. Bush did a bang up job on that.
The Chicago Spire Is 30% Sold {Luxist}
Jun 7th 2008 11:23PM No offense, but that building's design seems pretty phallic, if you ask me.
Mom Gives Public Punishment To Son, 12, Accused Of Bullying {ParentDish}
Jun 6th 2008 4:17PM Children should fear angering their parents more than impressing their peers. This mother is right and I applaud her for picking something that addresses the child's motivation behind the action.
Choosing a College ... Harder Than it Looks {AOL Hot Searches}
Dec 6th 2007 7:20AM You are seeing so many state colleges because no one can afford the private colleges anymore. It is now more common than not to see tuition/assorted costs approaching $40 - 50k a year. Children should start off at community colleges, get some basics down, travel, work, get a sense of self and then finish off at a four year. $150k to $200k for an undergraduate education is insane.

Brangelina to Adopt Ethiopian Child? {The Cooler}
Sep 12th 2007 12:59PM They can afford as many children as they want and obviously, it is their life BUT, with children comes putting yourself second and I have yet to see Jolie or Pitt do that. Children do not Have to go to work with you every single time you travel to another city for a few weeks. They can easily stay at home with the other parent; go to school; play with friends and have an otherwise stable life. Travel during school breaks and vacation time because, yes, travel is good, but enough is enough.
Tom and Katie Are Laying Low for Once {The Cooler}
Sep 12th 2007 12:52PM Even when not laying low, they pale in comparison to the Pitt/Jolie circus. Do we really care what Maddox is being served at school? And, the photo above at least shows a normal interaction between parents and child... again, unlike the Jolie/Pitt photos. So, let's move on to something more interesting like how fast grass grows on an average lawn in Georgie.
