Jun 13th 2011 7:21AM She can keep Girl Scout cookies for three days at her house? She must hide them well!

Wholesome Lasagna {Kitchen Daily}

May 20th 2011 9:46AM Some things you can try to go 'meatless'; use more eggplant, add chopped mushrooms (sauteed), add chopped tofu, increase all vegetables, and of course I have to add spinach to my lasagna - Popeye says you can't go wrong with spinach!

How to Feng Shui Your Way to Sweeter Dreams {MyDaily}

Apr 11th 2011 8:11AM Forget dimmer switches, throw that one out. Dimmer switches only work if you have incandescent lighting - the old light bulbs where power levels to the bulb could be adjusted. The new fluorescent (curly) bulbs do not work on dimmers, and require constant power, although much less. Your incandescents have been outlawed by the government and will very soon become museum pieces - Sorry Mr. Edison.

Mar 29th 2011 7:13AM Interesting that he chooses to buy toys rather than helping his own impoverished people. Must be a republican. No, wait... a spiritual leader? Oh I see, a television preacher!

Tinkerbell Too Sexy? Parents Worry Toys Too Hot for Kids {ParentDish}

Mar 10th 2011 7:31AM Disney loves controversy. It sells Tickets and DVD's. Kids don't really care about this stuff, it's today's Parents that get bent out of shape. These are the same ones who don't discipline their little buggers. Disney and cartoons in general were originally marketed to adults. If you go back and "carefully" review older cartoons - disney and otherwise - you will find many things that animators hid in cartoon scenes and character lines that are innuendo. Most animators at the time did all they could to "hide" things from the censors just to see what they could get by with including. So if you think Tink is bad, go back and review some of the original stuff very closely....

'Star Wars' or 'Star Trek'? Questions You Just Might Hear in the Interview {AOL Jobs}

Mar 1st 2011 5:11PM I tried to advise my boss on one ocassion to steer clear of personal questions about family, religion, personal habits and after-work hobbies during interview sessions, but he refused. He was convinced he needed to determine if a job candidate was the right "personality" fit with the rest of his office staff (ha good luck with that!) Funny, he wasn't concerned with their professional background or job skills. Did I mention he was a politician and locally elected assessor of property?
