Michelle Obama's Diamond Earrings {Luxist}
Dec 1st 2008 10:11PM and another thing; can the luxist writers please think of something else to do besides writing filler about political figures' spending sprees? It's getting aggravating and very repetitive, regardless of the political climate right now.
Michelle Obama's Diamond Earrings {Luxist}
Dec 1st 2008 10:09PM okay, how many *real* luxist readers are sick of these random people posting a bunch of stuff about starving children and the economy? Okay, we get it, you don't like rich people spending their money on luxuries, whatever. This entire website is devoted to rich people spending money on luxuries! This website is clearly not for you, and you are not accomplishing anything by posting here! If you want to debate these things, may I suggest the Politics Board on IMDB or some other website of that nature?
Jenna Jameson's Couch On eBay {Luxist}
Nov 22nd 2008 9:49PM it's a nice couch, but is the price $9500 or $95000? I think $95000 is far overpriced for JEnna Jameson's couch

Versace's Pricey New Perfume {Luxist}
Oct 25th 2008 11:12PM $2100, wow! I bet most of the cost went into the case and into advertising. i heard that perfume makers spend a very small percentage of production costs on the actual "juice".
Chanel to Increase Prices 20% in November {Luxist}
Oct 23rd 2008 8:04PM oh my God, I am so sick of the random people who come on here and complain about this! This article is no different from any other article on the website!
Look, some of you guys make good points, but seriously, if things like Chanel bags and stuff go against your principles, than you'd really be better off not going on and flooding the comments section.
Lux Tip: Fake Jewelry You Can Get Away With {Luxist}
Oct 20th 2008 8:09PM this doesn't seem as bad as some of the others, although i don't know how "lux" it is.
Heidi Klum Jewelry Lawsuit Dropped {Luxist}
Oct 9th 2008 2:28PM i doubt that those buying this jewelry are buying it as an investment. they are probably buying it because Heidi Klum's marketing it and because they think it's pretty.
in any case, you'd be hard pressed to make a profit off of jewelry bought at retail (even fine jewelry).
