Oct 13th 2010 2:44PM @Snowdog- read the article, they started with a full charge and then ran it down until the gas engine came on. They never charged it again (oh, it also went 36+ miles on battery alone despite some heavy use of throttle)

Jul 27th 2010 12:44PM I see that they learned from the Prius and its "solar roof". The option that had every NY Times reading greenie thinking, "Oh, Toyota has finally made a solar powered car". All the while Toyota just sat back and let that misconception sit out there. After all, why stop them from thinking you're even better than you are?
