Marc Jacobs Sick of Louis Vuitton Collaborations {Luxist}

Sep 14th 2008 1:19PM AS a Louis Vuitton client, I own several of the Suhali pieces, as well as other collections. I agree with Marc Jacobs as to the ridiculous collaborations and the frequency of them. Louis Vuitton has a rich history of quality and stability; as well as collect-"A"-bility. SLOW DOWN,! on the collaborations; it cheepens the line. It makes Hermes', more appealing to the serious collector. Fast money is ruining Louis Vuitton.
