Thieves Snatch Female Shark, Leaving Beau Mateless {Asylum}

Aug 1st 2008 1:01PM Hope this clears it up...Sharks are fish, not mammals

Sharks: (superorder Selachimorpha) are a type of fish with a full cartilaginous skeleton and a streamlined body. They respire with the use of five to seven gill slits. Sharks have a covering of dermal denticles that protect their skin from damage and parasites and improve fluid dynamics; they also have replaceable teeth.

Marine mammals: are a diverse group of roughly 120 species of mammal that are primarily ocean-dwelling or depend on the ocean for food. They include the cetaceans (whales, dolphins, and porpoises), the sirenians (manatees and dugong), the pinnipeds (true seals, eared seals and walrus), and several otters (the sea otter and marine otter). The polar bear is also usually grouped with the marine mammals.

Hope this clears it up...Sharks are fish, not mammals!

Teen births in the U.S. see first increase in 16 years {That's Fit}

Dec 8th 2007 2:18PM So sad....children begetting children. I'm a single Mom...a situation forced on me by the death of my husband. I wouldn't wish doing it alone on anyone. It's not easy, not easy at all. It's just too much.... being a GOOD parent , working, taking care of a home and attempting to have a social life will wear you out. I always feel like something is lacking... I'm worn out. Raising children is a delight...they are a gift from God...but they do need two parents.

Use the 'secret menu' for better fast food {BloggingStocks}

Oct 23rd 2007 7:10AM You know what I like about this post???? People aren't calling each other names and bashing each other and the personhe article is written about! How refreshing! Almost makes me want to go to a fast food resturant and meet these people! Nothing like a little kindness with those fries!

Kelsey Grammer's Bridgehampton Home, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Oct 19th 2007 7:48AM My, my, my... this article certainly stirred up the green eyed monsters. We can only hope that it's just the approaching Halloween season that brought them out and not just plain ole ugly jealousy! The home is stunning, although I personally prefer to live surrounded with more color than the Grammer's do, it's still very, very stunning!

Why do some of you assume there was a decorator involved? One was never mentioned in the article! Maybe Camille enjoys doing her own decorating! However if there was a decorator hired, it is obvious that those insulting him/her have never worked with one! The decorator listens to and follows direction from the client...if the client says monotone...they get monotone!

Good luck with the sale of your home Kelsey...I hope you get every penny of your asking price!

P. S. To all the green eyed monsters BOO !!! Happy Halloween!

Grapes of Galilee, Using Jesus To Sell Wine {Luxist}

Oct 9th 2007 7:42AM Anyone with a brain and a tiny amount of common sense would know when choosing this labeling it was going to offend many people in the Christian faith. My question is why offend people deliberately? I personally find it in very poor taste and can only imagine the contents of the bottle would be the same!

Pack Your Bags Now. Germany Proposes Seven-Year Limit on Marriages {Gadling}

Sep 28th 2007 7:21AM Duh!then why get married at all? Seems to me that is simply co-habitation with a license to do so. Marriage is supposed to be a sacred vow taken between two people and a commitment until you are separated by death. What kind of commitment is the "until I don't feel like it anymore" commitment? Sometimes when I think about God I wonder if He doesn't get tired of shaking His head at us and wondering why He ever bothered! LOL

Tattoo Your Diamond {Luxist}

Jan 18th 2007 11:09AM
Having recently been in the position to price and purchase a diamond I can pretty well guess that a 2.5 flawless diamond would cost somewhere between 50K and 100K depending on color, cut and several other factors. I would hope that any lady lucky enough to receive such a diamond would have more class than to make such a post. Oh...you can't buy class!

Starbucks sued over hot chocolate incident {Slashfood}

Nov 27th 2006 7:19PM This isn't about where the child was drinking the hot chocolate (i.e. car seat) but HOW HOT the drink was when it was served. I don't care if the drink was served while she was standing on her head in the middle of a traffic jam! The point is that Starbucks advertises their children's drinks to be served at around 140F. I would have personally checked the temperature of the drink before giving it to my child but can also understand why this parent may not have done so. Her child has been seriously injured and I think her parents have reason to seek damages.
