Dealing With Incompetent Bosses {AOL Jobs}

Apr 15th 2009 7:55PM After working for more than thirty years I've seen some real birds running the show. I've had a few bosses who I would sweat blood for and others who I would have liked to draw blood from. The hands down worst being at a pharmaceutical co. in New Jersey
The lady who said not to forget liars found the worst of all since you can protect yourself from a thief but not a lair, especially when they use the lies as a management strategy. This guy liked to hire men at least twice his size and then humiliate his people at every opportunity.
Being a born again hypocrite he wouldn't tolerate swearing from the crew but had no problem using profanity in Email addressed to the mechanics on his crew. The lies were supposed to keep us at each others throats.
After a particularly nasty episode in front of several other managers and the entire maintenance department I left but was very happy to hear that though my complaints fell on deaf ears the threat of a harassment suit by the other men several months later forced upper management to finally take action which left the SOB castrated. I just wish I had been there to see the look on his face when he had the law laid down to him.
Sooner or later what goes around comes around (most of the time). So maintain a paper trail when possible someone who thinks their omnipotent will leave you an opening sooner or later. Their arrogance makes it a lock.

Obama Breaks Reagan/Bush 'Jacket in the Oval Office' Rule {Politics Daily}

Jan 28th 2009 2:41AM Ronnie you are a jack ass but I think the issues of abortion, illegal imigration and gay marrige our new president seems to think need attention are just the tip of the iceberg.
I truely believe that electing this man was a mistake of biblical proportions and that by the time he has finished showing his true colors people will wish Bush was still President.
The jacket issue is a load of bull but the rest of what's will come to pass. All I can say is God help us all. The hen house is unlocked and we've let in somthing much more dangerous than a fox.

Teacher Strips for Students {Asylum}

Nov 23rd 2008 1:38AM Now that's what I call progressive education. Sex education when I was in High School was taught by a 400lb, 70 year old Priest. Now these kids have a teacher with practical experience who knows how to keep their attention. If that isn't a step in the right direction, it's definitely a unique teaching strategy.

AOL Straw Poll: Sept. 11-18 {Politics Daily}

Sep 12th 2008 8:34PM Any man who has the unabashed gall to support Rev Wright's church and run for President of the United States shouldn't even be a consideration by the electorate. Obama gave this church how much money, was a member of Write's flock for how long? Not to mention the fact that if his pastor wasn't as vocal as he is Obama would probably still be sitting in the front pew of this hate monger's church on Sunday.
Electing this man would be a mistake of biblical proportions.

AOL Straw Poll: Sept. 11-18 {Politics Daily}

Sep 12th 2008 8:20PM Hey SCTXCA lets talk about hypocrites. How long did the Democrat's rock star belong to a church who's head honcho is nothing but an unabashed hate monger. Why did it take national exposure for his to disavow
his pastor when he's looking to lead a nation of world wide diverse citizens.
Can you look someone in the eye and tell them you have no doubt in your mind that Obama had no clue of what his church's leadership was preaching? If you can you need to have your blinders adjusted.
I'm not going to tell you I ever supported Obama.Fact is ,if my only chose was between him and Hillary I would start looking for a new homeland but if I had this issue would have been more than enough to throw all my energy, support and any financial help I can manage to McCain.
Electing Barack Obama to the Presidency would be a mistake of Biblical proportions. Thankfully so far it seems that the general population of this nation also sees he isn't even close to being the best or even a qualified man for the office he seeks.
