Sep 23rd 2010 3:40PM Single family homes are not going to be as important as you think. You see banks gave us the people OPPORTUNITY to enjoy the American dream of owning a house. We the people took full advantage of this the wrong way, what way is that (GREED) brokers and want a be now (THEN) real estate investors (FLIPPERS) made it bad. Common sense You think the banks will let you make money by flipping houses and they make nothing your WRONG. If the bank knows that you have 2 houses and your looking to buy 4-5 more you think that your going to get the same rate as your first are you CRAZY No. SO people took to much then they could carry not thinking of (WHAT IF) can't sell house on time, tenants vacate, lose of job etc. Now what happens to your so call American dream, falls apart now so does ours. Now the banks and the government are coming up with ways to put an end to this and your saying this writer does not know what he is talking about your WRONG this need to happen and it will happen! P.S If you know investors that invested in apartment building are not having these FORECLOSURE problems that why your hope for single family home are out the window!!!!!
