Jan 25th 2012 2:55PM Whoa! This guy has a home (looks to me like it's worth 2 or 3 hundred thousand); it's paid for, and he's looking for someone to pay his HOA fees???? Why doesn't he get a reverse mortgage and never have to worry again? Seems like people never see the simple solution.

Jan 25th 2012 2:47PM All this chatter seems like a lot of rhetoric to me. Why did no one suggest a reverse mortgage or a homeowners loan to this gentleman? Either one would be easy for him to get, considering his house is paid for.

Mar 30th 2011 12:14PM Once something is accepted by the Smithsonian, it becomes virtually worthless. Nothing from there can be bought or sold. Selling her jewelry at auction and donating the proceeds to charity is an excellent way to put the value of the jewelry to work.

A seasoned assistant in my area makes anywhere between $15 and $20 per hour. I have 2 Hygenists at $35 per hour and 8 other employees (assistants, front desk, office manager) that range from $16 to $30 per hour. My monthly rent is $7000, monthly lab bills $8000, monthly supplies $2400, utilities $1200, monthly payments on equipment $4000, monthly insurance $3500. I need to make over $34,000 per month just to break even. That means that every day I don't make a dime for myself until I have made almost $2000. Whoever thinks all of us dentists are in a get rich quick business is crazy. You have to be on top of your game every day to make a buck.
