2.5 million Step2 push-along buggies recalled after kids are hurt {WalletPop}
May 12th 2010 7:15PM We have this toy. We had the same problem. Nobody got hurt, we noticed it before that became an issue. I assure you, it was not user error. We loved that toy (used it instead of a stroller for our oldest when he was a toddler). We gave away three of them as gifts, including a pair to friends who had twins. They ALL had the same problem. We bought ours in 2001. I can't believe it took THIS LONG to realize there was a problem....
Buying those discounted flowers could lead to months of undiscovered charges {WalletPop}
Mar 11th 2010 11:08AM To to cheapflowers.com I use them A LOT! Flowers are ALWAYS beautiful. No delivery fee, no service fee, the price you see is what you pay. I have never gotten anything but compliments for the floral arrangements I have purchased on this website. The order goes to a local florist, who designs, arranges and delivers the flowers you order. High quality products, beautiflly arranged. Funerals, new baby, birthdays, mothers day, get well, thinking of you, we have ordered them all.
I had a problem with a timely delivery ONE time. Wrote an email. They responded very quickly. Problem was I ordered something for a wake on Saturday night, to be delivered on Sunday. Small town, so flower shop was closed on Sunday. Their solution? Deliver the order on Monday morning in time for the funeral, AND they sent a $100 arrangement to the families home. On top of this, they didn't charge me for ANY of the two arrangements! Talk about customer service!!!
www.cheapflowers.com (the flowers will NOT say cheapflowers.com, so the reciepients will not think you are cheap! LOL!!!)
Joe Girardi: World Series Champion Manager and Good Samaritan {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Nov 5th 2009 3:17PM I met Joe several times when he played for The Cubs. This story does not surprise me in the least. He is the most down to earth, "normal" guy. His sports celebrity has not gotten to his head. He ALWAYS took the time for his fans, especially kids. The way baseball SHOULD be. He was a classy leader as a player in the clubhouse at Wrigley, and is a classy guy in pinstripes in NY. I was so disappointed a few years back when the Cubs literally said "No Thanks" when he interviewed for the managing job here. Nothing against Pinella, but Joe Girardi is what we needed here. Shame for us, bonus for the Yanks. Way to go Joe... hopefully our new ownership will offer you what you deserve, and you can come on home to Sweet Home Chicago!! Go Cubbies!!!
