Report: More than 50 Lamborghini Aventadors already ordered in Singapore alone {Autoblog}
Dec 20th 2010 4:21PM Besides the massive import tariffs and road tax, drivers in Singapore also have to obtain a COE (Certificate of Entitlement) which is a license to own a vehicle and completely separate from a drivers license (the exam for which people routinely fail multiple times because it's so challenging). COE prices fluctuate but they can be as much as $60,000 SGD for a car. If you can afford a Lambo you can certainly afford the COE, but it really impacts regular people the most. To put it in perspective: a basic Toyota Camry can run over $100,000 SGD with COE, an underpowered Audi A4 1.8 can set you back $200,000 and a BMW 535 carries a sticker price of over $300,000. And don't forget, you'll also have to pay for ERP (Electronic Road Pricing) which is exactly like the congestion charge in London, but rather than a flat fee it fluctuates depending on traffic. So basically, the government would prefer you to take public transport.
Report: Terrafugia flying car to start production by end of year {Autoblog}
Sep 10th 2010 9:37PM I scanned "Terrafugia flying car" too fast and saw "terrifying car." I think my subconscious is scared because a Beechcraft crashed a few hundred yards from my house last week.
Review: 2011 Jaguar XJL {Autoblog}
Aug 18th 2010 5:02PM Love where Jaguar has been going lately, but I think the silhouette looks like the Audi A5 Sportback (which is not necessarily a bad thing).

A Picture (Cake) is Worth a 1,000 Calories {Luxist}
Dec 4th 2009 1:07AM btw, we got them to my father's 50th birthday cake. Not only do they look amazing, I can assure you they taste amazing too - really moist because they use all purpose flour instead of cake or pastry flour.
A Picture (Cake) is Worth a 1,000 Calories {Luxist}
Dec 4th 2009 1:03AM Yeah, I agree. It looks amateur. They may do fancy decorations, but it's still a flat rectangular cake.
Anybody who knows anything knows that I Dream of Cake does the best custom cakes (Google VP Marissa Mayer etc). It's more sculpture than cake! Look at the picture of the Hermes Kelly bag cake. Their Louis Vuitton cake was so realistic they got a cease and desist letter from LV. How do you top that?
