Sean "Diddy" Combs Can't Afford His Private Jet {Luxist}

Sep 1st 2008 1:45PM I just read the story about Sean "Diddy" Combs having to fly first class now because he can't afford his private jet. I would just like to tell him I share his pain. I can't afford gas for my car, so I can't go out and find a job. I am losing my home, my lights will be shut off later this week and I'm eating every other day. But, as luck would have it even though he is suffering the indignity of having to fly first class, there are some advantages to this, if your looking at the bright side. They have free magazines in first class where he could learn that (1) when asking for a favor from the Arabs, he would be better served NOT to ask "Brothers and Sisters" since the Arabs tend to think of their women as lesser beings and would not be involved in any part of the decision making on the price of oil. (2) He could possibly read up on the reason that the oil companies have not lowered their prices. They have come out and said they need to re-coup their losses, because as the price of gas went up, people bought less, so they didn't make as much as they wanted to. And (3) he might be able to sit next to some one who is struggling to make ends meet (not as likely in first class as it would be in coach) and he could learn about how most of the people live.
