10 Top Markets for Bargain Hunters {AOL Real Estate}
Nov 19th 2011 12:21PM Oh what a dumb comment. The whole country's real estate is suffering, not just Texas. How petty partisan you are. Actually it's just gotten real again. There were starter homes in our area selling for $350,000, tiny, that's just dumb too.
Meet the eBay Millionaires {AOL Small Business}
Mar 25th 2011 6:35PM I have a growing dissatisfaction with selling on EBay because of the high fees and low selling prices. It is a great price to buy things cheaply. I hear good things about Amazon for small sellers - anybody have experience with them?
What Happened to Michael Vick's Dogs? Jim Gorant Tells the Story in His New Book {Pawnation OLD}
Sep 20th 2010 2:23PM I didn't get out of the article that the author is condoning or excusing dog fighting. He is right, there IS a culture that justifies it, all you have to do is watch Pit Boss on Animal Planet to see it. Some people treat animals like things and use them for amusement. The author was also honest to say he heard that Vick isn't all that enthusiastic about making public appearances that say dog fighting is wrong. Vick got off too easy, and I am disgusted that the Philadelphia Eagles don't seem to care about what he did.
What Happened to Michael Vick's Dogs? Jim Gorant Tells the Story in His New Book {Pawnation OLD}
Sep 20th 2010 2:14PM We have a 2 year old male Pit Bull. Sweetest dog I have ever had. This is my first Pit, have had about 15 dogs in my lifetime. He loves people, loves kids, wants to get in your lap, and gets along well with other dogs. Pit Bulls are not mean, but they are energetic and he can get really hyper if I don't tamp it down, so I can see how people can encourage them to fight. Doing my research, they were the most popular dogs in the US in the 20th century up until the 1960s. The RCA dog, Petey in the Little Rascals, more, all Pits. And then the "gangstas" ruined a wonderful breed. I don't think Vick is sorry he did it, just sorry he got caught.

May 25th 2010 2:23PM What is this crapola about fear of foreigners? We just want people to OBEY THE LAW!!!! It is an insult to born-in-the-US citizens and those who come here legally, including Latinos, to let people walk in here - invade - and then stay and demand their "rights". I was born here, and I have to obey the law. You want to let people who walk on in and just do whatever they want? Are you deliberately encouraging civil disobedience? When you show people U.S. laws don't matter, that's exactly what you are doing. Stop selling us out for Democrat votes from illegals and do right by your fellow citizens.

Entrepreneur's Journal: Before Starting a Home Business, Here Are Some Things to Think About {BloggingStocks}
Feb 15th 2010 11:50AM I am self-employed, have had the business for 5 years, part time for 3 years, full time for 2+ years, work from home, and generally love it. However, my medical insurance is the one reason I would consider getting a job again, IF I could get one right now. I and my wife each have a pre-existing condition that we will never be covered for, and group coverage at work is the only way around it. Plus, our deductible is huge. So I am hoping for some helpful reform, like allowing insurance companies to sell across state lines which could bring prices down and tort reform to start to bring costs and rates down. I hope for it, but I don't count on it. Neither side has the votes to get their version through. I am very happy the Dems proposed "reform" didn't get through, because it would have added about $500 a month to our premium, and this is money I need to live on. Other than the medical coverage issue, it's great to be self-employed and work from home.

Feb 8th 2010 9:40PM Terrence Moore is pretty much a moron. He used to be with the Atlanta Journal and is one of the reasons I quit reading it. Does he still work there? I don't care...Peyton Manning has won a Super Bowl, Terrence, he has just one more than you do. Wait a minute - you don't have one? Oh, never mind.

Nov 22nd 2009 4:15PM Arthur - how did conversatives plunge us into this recession? Conservatives are not even being listened to. If they were, health care would be reformed by stripping the bogus lawsuits out it with their multi-millions going to attorneys; social isses don't stimulate the economy, they cost jobs. Conservatives want govt to be smaller, a cut in taxes, and allow the people decide how to spend their money, i.e., let us keep more of it. Give the small business owners like me an incentive to hire you, because taxes are so high I can't afford to. What plunged us into this is the stupid mortgage loan to people who can't afford it policies from Clinton/Bush/Obama, and govt innefficiency and waste. They have enough of our money, they just waste it.
