'Man Down': We Interview Dan Abrams About Why He Believes Women Are Better Than Men {MyDaily}

Mar 3rd 2011 5:34PM Yeah and how many women have we seen mess up their career, their relationship (of 20 years or more), their entire LIFE for a cute face and a nice behind? I'm sorry, what were you saying about rational, logical or sane decisions?
Not to mention, our entire political structure was built by men and is still maintained by men. Even if a woman makes it in, she still has to come thru the "male ladder". It toughens them, it inures them and they lose their sense of justice. With men, it has been about money, about power, about TAKING what you want instead of working together. I think the world would be SO much better off with women in charge.

How Obama's Budget Proposal May Increase Your Taxes Next Year {WalletPop}

Feb 27th 2011 12:58PM Actually it was on an upswing until the new republican house held us hostage so they could get an extension of tax cuts for their elite buddies! I have been self-employed for 10 years. I pay a full 30% on my income. I did pretty darn good until about 3 1/2 to 4 years ago when all the Bush cuts and spending hit home. Obama went into office with a huge deficit. You people conveniently forget Bush already signed into effect the 1st pay offs. Obama has to get the ball to stop rolling FIRST before he can get it rolling back in the right direction. You cannot have tax cuts without spending cuts. Bush did not cut any spending, on the contrary he increased it. The results are still showing up!

How Obama's Budget Proposal May Increase Your Taxes Next Year {WalletPop}

Feb 27th 2011 12:15PM That's right. Families making over $250K and people leaving million dollar estates behind. Is that you? Probably not or you wouldn't be on here. You'd be up finishing your ski weekend in Vail. The upper echelon does pay the same tax on their wages as we do. However their INCOME consists of far less wages than the general population. The rest (up to 75%), consist of things such as dividends and capital gains which are taxed at 0-15%. So per income, these people get off paying far less than most of us. As for the "estate tax", this tax affects only a portion of the top 1%. Again, that's not you baby!

Anderson Cooper Attacked By Protesters in Egypt {PopEater}

Feb 2nd 2011 1:50PM Carm seems to be a role model to us all. The one who is sensitive to others. The one who appreciates real news. The one who wants to hear what's going on not what someone else THINKS about it and how THEY would handle it when they haven't got the foggiest how they would handle it 'cause they would be too wussy to actually go over to bring it back to us. And pray tell, what's the difference between a "fan" and a "zombie" such as Palin supporters? And yes, at this moment I AM a fan of Carm for their support of what it takes to bring us the news

Feb 2nd 2011 1:01PM "danger this would cause America"? "wrong side of the issue"? There ARE things a bit more important than what we pay for a frigging gallon of gas. The way a country treats their citizens is far more important than you being able to fuel your metal beast down to Walmart to buy crap made in Bangkok so you could get it at a cheaper price!

I Broke Up With My Boyfriend Because He Refused to Dance {MyDaily}

Jan 12th 2011 9:00AM This very subject was in "Dear Abby" a number of years ago. A very good point was made at that time. If he won't at least try to make you happy in this one little thing, I mean it's not like you've asked him to switch religions, how is he going to compromise in the future? I married a man that did not dance. When an old dance partner was "congratulating" me, he mentioned dancing. When I said No, he doesn't, the man said "And you're marrying him?" I thought, that's silly, I LOVE him. Ge would never take me dancing and I wasn't allowed to go out with g/f's. Although HE could go hunting for a week. Dancing was supposedly "different", when in fact trust is trust. I missed dancing so much and we ended up with NOTHING in common. He's now making someone else unhappy and I stick with dancers!

Film Critic Insults Award-Winning Actors, Makes Annette Bening Cry {PopEater}

Jan 12th 2011 8:49AM The sad and unfathomable truth is, the more outrageously wrong a person is, the more people seek out to hear what they have to say. NOT because they agree but for some reason they want to DISagree. Look at Beck, Coulter, Palin, Limbaugh, Stern!
