All I can say is WELL SAID, most of you. Everything that I was going to say has already been said by one or more of you. Parents who dont have the backbone or wherewithal to dicipline their kids properly and teach them manners and common sense should stay at home with their kids who usually turn out rude, loud, and obnoxious.

Jul 8th 2010 6:47PM What?! Come ON! Because of email they do FAR LESS work than ever before and they want to keep raising the price of stamps?! I can see if their work load was INCREASING but its FAR from that. I understand that it is BECAUSE of e-mail overall that the post office is feeling the pinch but it is what it is. I dont think the american public should continuously have to bail out postal workers just because new tech is hurting them. New tech has affected ALLOT of industries over the years but they didnt answer back by giving their employees RAISES. Take the newspaper industry for instance. The print version of newspapers is basically "dead man walking," and they are having to lay people off, give away MORE newspapers for LESS, and LOWER the pay of the employees that they DO keep. This post office thing is the exact opposite. If they go under LET them. We'll find some other way to handle mail. Even if we have to hand it all over to one of the other package services like UPS for example. If the post office cant handle it without continuously jacking up the cost of postage I say to HEL with them all. I think UPS can handle packages AND regular mail. Postal workers outlook right now is that they are expendable and are basically untouchable with their cush government job. Keep jacking postage up and we'll SHOW them how expendable they are when they are in the unemployment line next to everyone else who's job has suddenly been rendered obsolete.

There is a swell of anti ref'ism across the leauge, with the announcers, the coaches, and most importantly the FANS. AND RIGHTLY SO! As a Celtics fan I hate the Lakers with a passion but I agreed whole heartedly with the things that Phil Jackson said about those idiots. SOMETHING needs to be done about these referees and right now the only way Stern is handling it is to threaten anyone who complains about them with suspension?! These refs needs to start being fined for eroneous calls and non calls. They cant just continue to do their jobs like this and get away with it. If I or most anyone else made THIS many mistakes at work we would be flat out unceremoniously FIRED. This first round Celtics/Heat match up was literally the WORST officiating I have EVER seen. Its almost like the Celtics were playing the Heat AND the refs. Like the refs were in someones pocket to work against us. And Stern cant deny that this could happen because we all KNOW it happened a few years ago. We need to get rid of the refs on the floor in the NBA and go strictly video. Maybe keep one or two refs on the floor to inforce what the video refs call in to them. The game of basketball is just too fast for these clowns to moniter everthing on the floor like they need to. They need to step back and watch from a monitor. Maybe even have 3 or 4 refs watching the same feed looking for the samee things they would be if they were out on the floor. This way they can see everything they need to see right there condensed for them on the screen. As it stands now you have these little striped mice running around amongst Giants just trying to not get run over. They cant POSSIBLY see everthing they need to. Its like the analogy: "They cant see the forest for the trees." Well if they refed from a video screen they can see the trees AND the forest.

Apr 29th 2010 6:32PM You people who are saying that it looks bad on the U.S. because our team got beat by younger females dont really know what you're talking about. Gymnastics are one of the few sports where lower age, and lower body weight can most of the time be a plus. In a nutshell gymnastics is nothing more than how easily and gracefully one can throw their body weight around while keeping it on an appealing looking center of gravity/axis. Most females ESPECIALLY smaller people like the Chinese can bring their bodies up to competition levels at a VERY young age. Im thinking there are probably some 9 and 10 year old Chinese girls who will put girls of their same age from other countries to shame and will best or BEAT older girls around 15 or 16 from any country. Hell, 15 or 16 is practically middle age to over the hill in the gymnnastic world. So put this into perpective when talking crap about how a younger Chinese girl did better than an older American girl. Sheesh!
