Nov 22nd 2008 12:03PM I CANNOT deal with someone saying "whole entire" or "whole and entire" instead of just saying one or the other to get the point across. It falls into the same category as "awesome" and 'amazing" . Over use and over stated when rarely necessary.
As far as laziness where texting is concerned; the origins of "txt lingo" came from the need to utilize limited space when typing. Most cell phone providers offer limited text letter spacing per each text and therefore the need for a shorthand way of messaging was at hand. It simply offers speed and efficiency when typing. It's no different than when our parents were kids and wrote hand written messages in secret code on paper...or the morse code or short hand methods. Did those things screw up society as a whole and make us lazy, babbling idiots?.....
