The Reverend Al Sharpton has been bad mouthing all over TV and radio the gathering and Glenn Beck. The reverend seems to forget that MLK isn't a hero just to Black America, but also to the rest of us here who admired his courage and philosophy. At this perilous time in our history we need to honor our heroes, therefore bad mouthing a peaceful movement will only bring out the crazies and malcontents.

Aug 6th 2010 12:33PM Governor Palin needs to sit Bristol down and have a good heart-to-heart. The daughter really needs to be taken to the wood shed, but is too old now for that. However, Mama knows how to move her mouth, and a few well chosen words should make Bristol sit up and fly right. Believe me, tough love does work, it worked for me, and now I have a loving daughter who understands how destructive she was to herself and to her family. Bristol needs to understand that it's not all about her, her, her. For openers, the governor needs to tell Bristol that if she takes her bozo boyfriend back, the family is throwing her under the bus. Then stick to it if the brat decides to try to humilliate her parents again. Then we will see how far Bristol will get out there on her own, with no talent, nothing to offer except her last name. Bristol's 15 minutes of fame have long expired.

Jul 18th 2010 10:00PM While this article may be factual, it certainly is incomplete. I cancelled a no contract cell phone service after having it for three years. Was paid up to date. Several months later, someone decided I still owed for two months. My credit card company investigated and backed me up. The next thing I knew the "debt" was turned over to an out-of-state attorney. He sent me a notice to pay up or go to court. I ignored it. Six months later, when I applied for a refinance on my mortgage, I found out the attorney had notified the credit bureaus of my so-called "debt."
In spite of a previous 701 rating, I was turned down for the refinance.

Aug 13th 2007 11:36PM To whom it may concern: Yes, at one time Catholics considered left handed people as children of the devil. I know, because I was one of those "spawn of the devil." Now at age 74, I wonder what happened to the Catholic Church I once knew. We had to go through sheer Hades to marry a non Catholic; were forbidden to read the Bible; had to go to confession every week; couldn't wear spaghetti strap dresses to church; had to wear a hat or a veil on our head, and on and on and on. So, Mrs. macwog, rethink your thinking. It's about time some technology was invented to improve the lot of we maligned lefties.
