Harold Ford's Faux Pas {AOL Elections Blog}
Oct 30th 2006 5:00PM scott, mentioning the two in the same sentence does not equate them. and there is nothing in the rest of his statement to support your theory. stop grasping.
Harold Ford's Faux Pas {AOL Elections Blog}
Oct 30th 2006 4:57PM Just read Jenny's comment above (#18), YES, thank you, this is what we should to feel about a candidate before we vote for them. It has been far, far too long since we have had any logical reason to be inspired about voting anyone into public office. Years and years of election cycles dominated by mediocrity, buzzwords, hate-speak, scare-tactics...and do we get what we voted for, yes: incompetent, fear-mongering, hypocritical bastards who spout election-year morality while in practice they break every known moral code and regularly invent new ones to break. the true meaning of leadership has been all but lost in this country, it is time we raise our standards, we are way overdue for this.
Harold Ford's Faux Pas {AOL Elections Blog}
Oct 30th 2006 4:35PM Does this blogger even know the definition of faux-pas? There is nothing false, no mis-step in his words, and nothing to fault. He was simply stating facts. This supposed 'faux-pas' is an invention by a blogger trying to distort Ford's intention and put words in his mouth. Why does this lamebrained subject warrant such prime real estate on AOL, are there really no more substantive subjects to feature??
Naomi Campbell Becomes A Yacht Menace {Luxist}
Jul 19th 2006 3:04PM she is in need of a serious slapdown. she's been treated like a princess by everyone in her world for as long as she can remember, and has gotten away with this stuff for years. now she's just an ex-supermodel-past-expiration-date, and she isnt happy about it. so, why not take it out on your maid, chef, assistant...they should sue for the right to slap the hell out of her one good time and teach her the meaning of consequence. she's practically 40! time to grow up.
Lincoln MKS: specs and pics {Autoblog}
Jul 6th 2006 1:19PM lincoln's future is based on proving that american luxury sedans can mimic german body styling just as well as japanese luxury sedans do? On first glance i thought it was a 525 with the wrong grille attached. even the wheels are copied from BMW. why not just call it BMKS? i could park it next to my Lexcedes.
Wildest Cities {Gadling}
Jun 25th 2006 8:52PM i've been to all the cities as well. yes, Rio is the wildest. it has the worlds largest urban jungle (the floresta de tijuca, which sits within the city), immense mountains to parasail from, and miles and miles of beautiful beaches, as easy to get to as just crossing the street. fulbol, fut-volley, volleyball everywhere, and a bike lane connecting all the beaches&bays, boating in the bay & around Rio's islands, rowing in the famous 'Lagoa' with view of Corcovado...and during carnaval add the samba parades, which take 'dancing in the street' to a whole new level. Rio has an almost perpetual summer, and lots and lots of bikinis to prove it. you never forget where you are!
