Jun 26th 2008 10:53PM I am so fed up with microsoft. I have spent thousands of dollars on PC's and hundreds and hundreds of dollars on Microsoft products. The straw that broke the camels back was a few weeks ago. I had programs that would download and install etc. This takes hours to do in some cases. This last time my computer stopped working all together. I was prepared to plunk down another thousand dollars on another useless PC with Microsoft on it but I seen an iMac and I took it for a test drive and I was so impressed I spent an extra thousand dollars so that I finally would have a better product. I couldn't be happier and as a matter of fact that 2k was the best investment that I ever made. I have not had any problems with my Macintosh. I however did splurge and buy the almost 300 dollar program so that I could run Office 2008. One product I don't think I could live without. However, Microsoft Media player and explorer and other products are absolutely worthless to me. They continuously check for updates etc. Oh the iMac is less clutter on the desk and the whole system is virtually maintenance free. My advice to Bill Gates is you have had your chance to impress this consumer and you lost big time.
