Apr 9th 2010 12:18PM My first Bassett was Sousa's Submarine Sam .Sometimes called Plow Boy by neighbors. He was the funniest dog I ever saw. We lived in CT and winters he did have a problem. Few months later got a female named Lady Glenda but was called Totto . Then we became grandparents of eleven puppies. They all were great pets. At one time I had twenty seven dogs, two cats , one Mynah bird , one rabbit, one duck. and two tanks of fish. Most of them had been thrown out on the roadside. After about twenty years I realized I couldnt take care of all the throw aways. I now have one dog and one cat ,both were throw aways. I Keep saying this is the last one as I am getting older, but there always seems to be one more that really needs a home. I wouldn't want it any other way.

Mar 31st 2010 1:43AM I like Simon because he is honest. Why should he have to lie about someones talent? His harsh words help more than they hurt. I will take an honest man over a liar any day. Usually with too many sweet words is a cover for something you won't like.
