'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Rushed to ER as a Precaution {PopEater}
Oct 3rd 2010 1:30PM WOW, my husband was in a hospital ER a month ago with three herniated disks and all the staff did was pump him full of pain medication and wheel him out; told him his symptoms did not "qualify" for an emergency MRI. He's still waiting for treatment. Just further proves unless your in the limelight.....well, you can fill in the blanks.
Can Modern Coupon Clippers Beat Savers of the Past? -- Savings Experiment {WalletPop}
Nov 13th 2009 11:09AM Hi Kim - You're right.....the clerk must have been lazy. Everything's controlled through the register. If the coupon cannot be accepted for one reason or another, it will not
allow the cashier to scan the coupon. Challenge it next time
a cashier just runs her/his mouth without scanning first.
What's the Proper Punishment for the Parents of 'Balloon Boy'? {Politics Daily}
Oct 19th 2009 4:25PM This man did not brain storm this alone. The "investigative" media members should also be held responsible to some extent; or, do they even investigate anything anymore before throwing it out into the public. It seem like everyone wants a piece of the pie, and, since we obviously live in a time where just about anything goes, this stunt is not a complete shocker. Whatever the punishment, it won't deter the next person...it may even intrigue someone to take it to the next level. That in itself is the game.

Does Your Name Spell Success? {AOL Jobs}
May 16th 2009 11:33AM I have serious doubts about these studies and, this column is irrelevant considering we're in a recession. It was just a few weeks ago we read a column covering recently downsized sucessful business people taking lesser paying "survival jobs". So, when the chips are down, they found that pushing a broom or bagging groceries wasn't so bad after all. A good reminder that blue collar workers ARE the backbone of this country.
Tell Us!: Most Annoying Commercial Ever {WalletPop}
Jan 31st 2009 11:54AM For our household it's definitely the Appliance Direct commercial. I've gone so far as to sending the company a message letting them know that their commercials are so annoying, we wouldn't buy from their establishment even if we had to pay more.
Elephant Befriends a Dog, And We Cry Big Elephant Tears {Urlesque}
Jan 9th 2009 1:18PM This is such a wonderful heart warming story and it's positive message is very refreshing. Thank you AOL for sharing.
Flashy "Bible" seeks to inspire the ADHD generation {WalletPop}
Oct 11th 2008 2:24PM Thank you Marc, well said. We are truly in the last days and it's both frightening and exciting at the same time to literally watch the Book of Revelation unfold before our very eyes. What's happening today is supposed to happen, what happens this election year, is supposed to happen.....Scripture WILL BE fulfilled in order for Jesus to return. So with that in mind, those who put God in a closet, or do not acknowledge him at all....I pray that your blinders are removed for you to SEE the Truth. We are a nation that needs to repent. Jesus is the ONLY WAY to the Father. May God forgive us for our misuse of His precious gift of free will, our ignorance and our greed.
5-Year-Old Blows $105,000 He Stole from Dad {Asylum}
Sep 15th 2008 1:54PM Most 5-year olds wouldn't have the concept of this kind of money. He had the heart to share and it was the older kids that strung him along for the ride. All involved should be held accountable to some extent; including store clerks who should have questioned why such young children have large amounts of bills stuffed in their pockets. As for the dad's mistake, easy come, easy go.
Most Embarrassing Online Mishaps 4 {Switched}
Sep 10th 2008 11:22AM Extremely shocking for any parent to speak to their young child in this manner. Shame on both parents for using this little girl in their emotional tug-of-war game. No wonder most Hollywood kids end up with a tragic ending.
