The Doctor is Out {Gadling}
Oct 15th 2006 3:13PM Try this guy - he is fantastixc when it comes to cosmetic surgery! Dr. Fernando at the ClinicaColon. Third generation doctor, California trained, married to an American lady, has his own excellent clinic in Merida, Mexico (easy & cheap to get to). Just about all my friends and family have taken my advice and had work done by him. Less than 1/4 of the price of the best US docs and up to date in just about all kinds of cosmetic procedures. Even going just for Botox and filler shots more than pays for the whole trip, and the city is wonderful. Any questions, you can email me at GilMills@aol.com. No prob.
Ralph Lauren Joining the Hotel Crowd? {Luxist}
Aug 21st 2006 8:04PM RL in hotel biz a good idea, but here is a better idea, knowing the gent and where his hotels would probably be:
They should be opened as quarter-shares, a timeshare for 3 mos. at a time. Big sellers when a celeb is attached. Enormous returns all but guaranteed and will be able to really do some over-the-top decorating in a super luxe RL manner. My family are pros in the timeshare biz, and believe me this setup would be excellent for RL.
Classics Refuted - The Onion's Picks for Much-Honored Flicks it's "Okay to Hate." {Cinematical}
Jun 23rd 2006 3:19PM Am I the only one who can't sit through one of the most boring "classics" ever? This film is definitely one of the the worst! Of course I am talking about "To Kill A Mockingbird." How much did it cost the studio to con or bribe the critics into anything but giving it all thumbs down?! Absolutely a horribly boring film with stilted dialogue, bad acting and lousy sets. Pure stinko!
