Mar 24th 2010 6:55PM Brent, You're right that most of the stuff in dollar stores is from China. However, most of the stuff from EVERY store is now from China or some other country. Go to the grocery store and look at the frozen fish and note it's origin. The only way to bring back the money to this country is to stop so many imports. We can thank our politicians for our mess. They represent us well, don't they?

Don't know what I'll do when they wear out, but my jeans are about 10 years old and I WILL NOT buy the lower cut jeans or pants of any kind that do not fit at the human waist and have a waistband (sans elastic!). We're being told that they are "slimming" and obviously some women believe that. They're idiots! This lower cut makes almost everyone look fatter and sloppy and stupid.

What you try to hide from kids just becomes their object of intense curiosity. Sensible, honest, caring parents are necessary and, unfortunately, scarce in this country.
