Jun 10th 2008 2:56PM My favorite place, is a family friends house on west shore of lake tahoe. West shore is by far the best part of the lake. The house is on the lake with their own private pier, large padio area, fire pit, and paddle ball court. And best of all it is a few houses away from Chambers Landing and a short boat ride or drive to Sunnyside, a great lakeside place to eat. This part of the lake is the best place to purchase a house or rent for a weekend or month, however long you want to stay.
