Tomorrow never knows: No Beatles on iTunes, but all over the Web {Daily Finance}
Sep 10th 2009 3:57PM Steve Jobs screwed the Beatles and their label (Apple).
Jobs promised that he would never get involved in any kind of music venture that might confuse the consumer. Jobs kidnapped, bastardized and lawyered-up the stolen apple name and immediately reverted to a lying, greedy capitalist and cheated the Beatles (the original Apple) out of billions of pounds. Jobs needs to apologize to Apple and The Beatles and donate the money he cheated the Beatles out of to a worthwhile charity.
Schwarzenegger For President? {Politics Daily}
Dec 22nd 2008 9:32PM Along with Washington, Lincoln, FDR, and the Gipper; Arnold would be a truly great leader. Schwarzenneger has proven himself to be a true American hero and at least deserves a chance to run.
Our new guy hasn't even been inaugurated and already the evidence is pointing to the fact that he's a crook. Arnold has made his own fortune and wouldn't be subject to the same temptations that have led our new guy to illegally enrich himself. A year from now Americans are going to be wondering how and why the terrorists have been allowed to start bombing and terrorizing our Country again. In three years, when the election cycle starts again and the issue is no longer the economy but rather National security, people will be begging for a man like Arnold to lead us.
Brad Pitt Premieres in Tom Ford {Luxist}
Dec 14th 2008 8:57AM Angie, I lost my son-in-law to a motorcycle accident in July. Please insist the Brad be super careful on his new Titanium bike. It would be such a tragedy for you and the kids if anything happened to him. He's such a special guy and you and the children need him!
Love Story: Barbra Streisand and George W. Bush Trade Kisses {Politics Daily}
Dec 8th 2008 7:53PM Two folks who've reached the pinnacle of their professions. Bush's acclaim will grow in the coming years in the same way that Truman's did. After 9/11 he kept the Country safe from terror;And we've all been in love with Barbra since "Funny Girl". In some way they surely admire and respect each other. So glad they were able to put their differences aside for the moment.
PhotoSynthesis: Elvis' '68 Comeback Special {Spinner}
Jan 7th 2008 3:24AM Pretty sad to find all the misinformation, inconsistencies, outright fabrications and perpetually repeated myths reported here as facts. Michael Ochs is without a doubt the most poorly informed reporter on this subject that I've ever been exposed to. I strongly recommend that anyone who's truly interest in this or related subjects start reading - beginning with Peter Guaralnick's 2 Book Elvis set. I think Och's picked up most of his information from The National nEnquirer
PhotoSynthesis: Elvis in 'Jailhouse Rock' {Spinner}
Jan 7th 2008 3:15AM The jail house dance sequence in Jail House Rock was choreographed by Alex Romero. Elvis also had help perfecting his moves for the movie from Russ Tamblyn a childhood veteran of the entertainment industry and a well known street dancer. As far as Elvis part in creating Rock and Roll is concerned; It's a question that each of us are given the liberty of deciding individually. When Elvis cut "That's All Right, Mama" in July of 1954 it came out on the Hillbilly charts in Billboard Magazine. Little Richard's first recordings came in 1951 on RCA Victor. His chart hits began in January of '56 with Tutti Frutti - before Elvis gained national recognition on The Tommy Dorsey show. Little Richard was Rock and Roll from jump street and Elvis cut and copied all of Richard's stuff. In my opinion, "Rocket 88" was definitely the first Rock and Roll hit. Recorded in 1951 by Ike Turner's band with the lead vocal going to Jackie Brentsen it's the earlliest example of R&B transitioning into true Rock & Roll. The classic side was cut at The Sun Studios in Memphis in 1951 under the direction of Sam Phillips.
That's the genuine skinny folks and if you've heard or believe differently you need to get back to the books. Brother Bruce

Parker-Longoria Didn't Make It to the Finals {The Cooler}
Nov 19th 2007 6:45PM I just googled myself and found several entries, attributed to me, that I didn't write. Can these be removed? They're a bit odd and I don't understand how they got there.
Randall Godfrey to Bill Belichick: 'You Gotta Show Some Class, Show Some Respect' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Oct 29th 2007 10:46PM Winning at any cost, aka, cheating was honed to perfection by the fellow they named the super bowl trophy after. Do some research, this guy reached out to his friends in DC in order to have his star player put on emergency leave from the armed forces in order to play in the NFL championship game.
That's for starters. And his shit is put to shame by some of our old friends in Chicago, Oakland, et al.
Running up the score, pointing a camera at your opponents sideline - How the hell is that going to win you a ball game.
From here in Tampa all I can say is that I've never seen so much jealousy and unjustified carping in my 60 years of following the NFL. These guys from Boston must be pretty damn good to incits so much envy.
Mike Wilbon: 'I'd Hit Tom Brady With Everything I Had as Late as I Could' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Oct 29th 2007 10:32PM Up until now, defending Super Bowl champ Manning has always been referred to as the NFL's Golden Boy.
What gives? Would this guy be using the term Golden Boy if he was talking about a black player.
Let's call a spade a spade, this fat bastard Wilbon is a flat out racist.
